4 games to save the season?

To be pedantic it is actually 4 games to end the season.

I think tomorrow's game is critical. If Rotherham lose then 2 wins for us should be plenty, and also Birmingham are likely to be all but safe when we play them which should help. Swansea will be safely ensconced in a play-off position while Wednesday will be down and hopefully their players mentally on the beach.

If Rotherham win then that's 6 points from 3 games for them and they will be full of confidence that they can overhaul us.

Very squeaky bum time.

Has anyone watched the "highlights" on the DCFC website? Wisdom was definitely on the beach in his head, he had a shocker.

Agree Scouse. I hope Mengi is fit for Tuesday.

And why wouldn’t you be?

It's called playing to your strengths. I was going to suggest DCFC do likewise, but I'm not sure we've actually got any strengths.

At least Crewe, Wigan, Accrington and dare I say Shrewsbury are handy!

I'll start starving the hounds in preparation for your vist, Scouse.

I fink it's a case of what Rotherham do rather than what you do.

Morning all...Must admit I'm trying not to think about it nor get stressed about it. I can't affect it so I'm trying to be chilled. All are winable - as the game on Friday night was...and should have been won by us...but this is Derby.
I hope we survive and go on to better things next season. I have faith in this management team but time will tell eh.....🐏 🐏 🐏 🐏

Rotherham boss is targeting 9 points for safety which means we need 5 and perhaps one more for inferior goal difference (which Spart always reminds us is crucial). So two wins and we’re golden ... 🤔

Massive game on Tuesday night for Derby County

posted on 18/4/21

We could win all 4 and still go down.

posted on 18/4/21

That's the spirit Bilston. Incredibly unlikely though. 2 wins likely to be plenty. I agree with Jorv that Tuesday is absolutely massive. A Rotherham win today would have left us favourites to go down. Now a win against Preston would put huge pressure on Rotherham.

I've been optimistic about our chances of survival but the loss to Blackburn combined with Huddersfield winning at Forest and Coventry beating Barnsley has left me feeling uneasy.

I'm certain Clough had he situation resolved quicker when we were last battling relegation with what would appear to be a cheaper assembled squad.

On the contrary Fin.final day position is very rarely settled by goal difference. Both Bristol City and Huddersfield reached the play offs with a negative goal difference and Huddersfield were actually promoted. Even more astonishing, Huddersfield survived their first season in the Premier League before normal service was resumed,

Rotherham's games in hand don't seem to be much of an advantage. I think we will probably only need one more win to be safe.

Europe's top clubs?

Remind me

Have Derby County not won the League title more
times than Spurs since 1960?

Even Florest have

For everyone who says the "Big six" would be missed if they were thrown out of the league, cast your minds back to when Utd were relegated in the 70's and more recently City who were playing Macclesfield at one point......

No, I thought not.

Out of sight, out of mind.
I couldn't give a to55 about the big 6. You win whatever division you are in, you're the best team. It's that simple.
