Don’t think I fancy being in a super league getting banged up every week by Bayern Munich and Real Madrid. Arsenal and spurs would be battling it out for the bottom two positions

Bayern refused to sign up for it. No German teams did.

So we’d just battered by everyone else

Well it will be interesting to hear from the clubs involved, but so far it just sounds like a money making sham to me!

We play in a the league with the most money and in that league we have decent European pedigree. It’s not super as we are awful. But that’s irrelevant. The champions league isn’t just for the champions.

Its all very sus surely, 3 from London, 2 from Manchester, 1 from Liverpool, is that a fair representation of English football, is this a full-time comp or instead of CL

Yes but the PL was wanted so clubs could take advantage of a big tv deal just like this competition.

Pretty sure the main 5 clubs that started the break away from the football league have never been relegated

Uefa and the Premier League have strongly condemned 12 major European clubs, including the 'big six' from England, signing up to a breakaway European Super League.

Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham are part of the group.

La Liga's Atletico Madrid, Barcelona and Real Madrid and Serie A's AC Milan, Inter Milan and Juventus are involved.

UEFA, The English Football Association, and The PL, the Royal Spanish Football association and LaLiga, and the Italian Football Federation and Lega Serie A have learned that a few English, Spanish and Italian clubs may be planning to announce their creation of a closed, so called Super League.

If this were to happen, we wish to reiterate that we and also FIFA and our member associations will remain united in our efforts to stop this cynical project, a project that is founded on the self interest of a few clubs at a time when society needs more solidarity then ever.

Joint statement from UEFA, FA, PL, LaLiga, FIGC & Serie A.

Because you're looking at the wrong table.

I'm actually ashamed of and embarrassed for our previous board members who sold the club out to Kroenke's charlatan corporation, who've not invested a single penny into the club, yet are now poised to make a fortune off of it.

So disgusted right now.

Football could be dying.
If this happens no fan will be interested in playing the same clubs , and having to travel to Europe for away games.....count me out
