i hope theyre hit where it hurts them in the pockets, and everyone else just unites against them/it.

Anyone agrees with it really is following the wrong sport anyway so no big loss. Theres such a big market and money for it then why dont they fack off and do it without piggybacking on the history and success of our clubs/sport.

Yes it is comes in the 2 privately owned. One of them is your American owned who dumped all his debt on the club. Doesn't negate the fact that this is an American money led hostile take over

Agree with the OP and no doubt we will start to see time outs during the game and other whacky American sports changes. The freemasons have taken over.

Yeah, the problem isn't foreign ownership, it the US owners specifically.🤔
Which is handy. 😂😂😂

How long will it be before they decide that one of the 5 wildcard spots will be for the Soccer champs of the US of A and also how long will it be before some of the games will be played in a neutral ground in the USA.

Think that was mooted a couple of years ago wasn't it? Boosting it up to 40 games per season 2 to be played in the US?

PL matches will be played in the US too. I mean if the PL cave and let these 6 breakaway while remaining in the PL, the PL will cave for future changes and that will include foreign PL fixtures among other things.

So European billionaires live in a fish tank oblivious to everything that goes on outside? They didn't know American sports ran a franchise system until Americans bought into PL clubs and explained it to them?

The main continental clubs have been pushing the Superleague idea for decades. It was always going to be a mere question of time before it happened.

No it was not a matter of time but a matter of money. That money is US driven, The Prem league clubs are American driven. European Billionaires may have thought of it but didnt act.
The main driving force is US investors trying to negate the losses suffered by US owners of clubs like Sunderland, Villa etc and the best way in their view is a ring fenced franchise league.....as I said follow the money.

They’ve missed a trick. Could have called it the World Series League.

Don’t joke. It might very well happen if (and I don’t think the ESL will succeed) they repurpose those open slots for teams in the US, China, Brazil, and Argentina, to join.

America aren't that good at team sports apart from the ones they promote domestically like Basketball, ice Hockey and the newly accepted Baseball.

Is this part of a wider plan to control the most popular sport on the planet - Sakkur?

This is just really bad. What the feck are players thinking at the moment? On reflection I think it was always inevitable once the Americans saw an opportunity based on the Glazer's receipts over the past few years.
In a few years hence what will they do to the NHS if the Tories let them in?

I love how this implies all that I have said about your human rights abusing sports washing owners and you still defend them. 😂

We know our owners are the pits. Must be difficult for you this chaps knowing that I have been right all these years about yours.

They care about the region, the club and the fan though right? That's what you told me.

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Stop deflecting it away from your owners then and own it. We know ours are the worst. Looks like yours are no better.

I constantly slate our owners. Never liked them. Never wanted them. You have to defend yours because you know you couldn't win a raffle without them.
