Brum v Forest Match Thread

Surely Knockaert can’t start. The same goes for Freeman and Murray. They aren’t going to be here next season, we’re pretty much safe barring a Rotherham miracle and ultimately...they have been a waste of money. Knockers has had 5-10 decent games?

If Ameobi is fit, the side picks itself.

This is CH though, so anything is possible.

Surely we have a couple of half decent wingers in the youth set-up who aren’t out on loan.

If you add in how poor Grabban and (the injured) Lolley have been it’s no wonder we struggle to score.

Heart says we’ll nick it 1-0. Head says we’ll lose it
3-0.

When did Brum last score three?

Now that we are safe I'd like to see CH try something a bit different. Without any decent wingers how about going for a radical 3-5-2 formation?

Samba

Mbe Soh, Worrall, McKenna

Christie, Cafu, Garner, Krov, Ribs

Taylor, Mighten

Not going to happen though is it. Mr conservative will make very few changes. Knockaert out maybe the only change.. But if there were angry words in the dressing room after the loss to 'Udders they should be backed up with players being left out. Otherwise it's pointless.

To have ‘angry words’ in the dressing room, you need to care, and I don’t think half of our starting eleven care enough, it’s a problem with loanees. A point would suit both us and the Brummies so neither side will probably bust a gut, wouldn’t be at all surprised by a drab low score draw, or more likely a 2-1 or 1-0 home win. To be honest I am almost beyond caring, but have just enough left to see the season out. CH may change a couple of players but the shackles certainly won’t becoming off anytime soon. As I’ve said before, the sooner we get these last few games over with and draw a line under this total disaster of a season, the better, only one saving grace, we are not as deep in the mire as the sheep are, though I still think they may just survive.

Totally agree dave - I feel the same - I’m beyond exasperated with this absolute circus of a club and how we’ve been treated year in year out - this season has been a total disaster - and I only hope CH can do some over the summer by turfing out the dross

I heard that Hefle is on £14K a week - that is absolutely criminal - he hasn’t kicked a ball in 2 years

It’s an insult - and I’m just pleased but to be wasting any of my money on this shambles

That's my point. Those who don't care leave them out. But I think it is not that many. Worrall, Yates obviously care a lot. Knockaert, Grabbs hmm?

The big problem is that the U23s have not been brought through this season. We can now have a match day squad of twenty, TWENTY. and yet we only ever see Mighten from the U23s on the bench. Surely there should be 2 or 3 on there at least. But the likes of Freeman, Bachirou, and Bong have blocked their progress.

Rotherham winning already

We need Grabban or Taylor to score; we don't want to finish the season with OG our leading scorer. He'll probaly get Player of the Year if he does

Rotherham down to ten men and 'boro have equalised

Freeman in for Knockaert; Taylor starts in place of Grabban.

Nice one Chris

Rotherham losing 2-1, they had 3 winnable home games and look like losing all 3, that’s the problem with games in hand. The sending off today was harsh, Boro’s first goal shouldn’t have stood as the ball was moving, basically everything is going the sheep’s way atm. We could do with something going our way tonight.
