This thing is dead in the water too many oppose it for it to succeed
Be honest, it’s nothing to do with ESL, your just embarrassed to be an Arsenal fan, and who can blame you
Arsenal Supporter's Trust should write a letter finishing with "thank you for your interest in our support".
Agreed and then this super league stuff on top of it

Agreed. Either the owners are blinded by money or just playing an incredibly risky bargaining chip for a revised CL.
UEFA have said any teams in it will be barred from all domestic and international comps. And they've threatened a billion dollar lawsuit so large it has to be taken seriously. Seems dead in the water tbh.

And to think. Some morons on this forum defended kronke and said all the penny punching pinching was wengers fault. I seem to be getting proved right week on week.
Naive clowns
I’m glad we will be able to continue to banter at the bottom of the ESL for the first 5 years or so - the wooden spoon derby will be good
- Well an insider said the owners were fully expecting a backlash but they will ride it
- Some of the club board members are not happy about this, but it's all pushed by the club owners
- The owners prefer to not let their players play too many games so they are not fussed if they get banned from the PL, Euros, World cup
- Priority is about profit and revenue, the wider good of the game is secondary
- They will prioritise the super league games, so they would field weaken teams in the PL games
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SigvDl14tAU
Maybe all the players should go on a strike to oppose this as I don't see anything else working

This is so stupid I can totally believe it 😅
So they didn't factor in that top players may want to play in an actual recognised league campaign? They may want to represent their country? They may want to win a CL they dreamed about, where the best teams qualify?
It's madness. I still think it's a dangerous I'll advised bluff as they must've had lawyers go over this stuff in so much detail. Hate to think what that alone would've cost.
Maybe they think that the players would just care about the money and won't care about anything else.

It’s just turned football into content as opposed to a competition
Money talks, and if they can take the sheep-like followers of the game with them they can make a boatload in a secure protected monopoly with this plan - I wouldn’t be so sure that they can’t make this happen. 😕

I got that. Nice
They have released a strongly worded statement, so that's good.
Kroenke is proving himself to be one of the biggest CAANNNTTTSSS who ever walked the face of the earth.
The same goes for the owners of the other 5 clubs
Its not about the football competition. Its about the £350; million pounds to be made.
Arsenal have paid their dues and got in metaphorically speaking
They want a midweek competition alongside being in the PL.

Some dont understand why we have relegation ?
That tells me everything I need to know about these people
Arsenal been embarrassing us for years now. Hardly relevant to the ESL.
Also knowing kroenke and how he viewed top 4, he will be perfectly happy to see us finish in bottom 3 of super league year after year and take his profits. Why invest the money to make us compete at the top end when you’re guaranteed a śhît load of money either way. With Top 4, he just wanted us in there, never showed any ambition past that. It’ll be the same in the prem, why bother ever driving the team to win the league when we get super league every season.
For most of these owners it’s all about money, they won’t care who wins the super league. Maybe Arsenal will end up imploding the whole super league, because we’ll play such śhît boring football that no one will tune in
