Honestly Mourinho last game at Man Utd was the most embarrassing performance I have seen in a long time, especially as it was Liverpool away.

Our tactics were just to hope Liverpool keep shooting and not scoring from 20yds. In fact our last 2 league visits were similar that way. Considering on paper we had a great side. Interestingly the reverse with Ole Liverpool barely managed a shot of note in the game. The only save our keeper made was from 25-30yds out rolled to our keeper that even a baby would save it.

Mourinho tactics allowed Liverpool 36 shots 11 on target and 13 corners. Solskjaer tactics allowed Liverpool 7 shots 1 on target and 7 corners and Man Utd had the 3 best chances in the game against Liverpool.

You already tried to get some bites before and I let it slide

Also Solskjaer had near half the team injured that game and still looked so organised and the most dangerous side against Liverpool who looked like they could play 10 hours and not create a chance. Just shows you how inept Mourinho is tactically.

In the last full season with Poch dele's season was very stop start due to 6 separate injuries and when he was playing he was playing in a very dysfunctional team that couldn't control games anymore

Winks was always average though you're right I just didn't want to have to agree with Luka about it

I like winks but I agree about his ability its hard not to. Issue for me is getting rid of him and keeping sissoko, it would insult me

I think Alli lost motivation. I’ve read a few things saying as such. Apparently quite a few people close to him have mentioned he’s just not that bothered about football as he’s already made it.

Alli just got stuck by the system and injuries effecting his form more than anything. The worse and worse our midfield got the deeper and deeper he played. By the 18/19 season he was almost putting up similar defensive numbers & output to the axis of awfulness Winks & Sissoko. He went from a player who was largely absent in the game with one or two wonderful moments to a player who was largely involved in the game but without those moments anymore (played much more as an 8.

He seemed to rediscover some of his early form under Jose but shortly after Mourinho realised Spurs football was too attacking and he reverted to type.

It'd be a real shame if Dele's attitude is the problem

Maybe the actual story is Daniel Levy sacked him as the football was turning really bad on top of falling out with players and I think Levy might have wummed Mourinho as Mourinho first and last defeat as Tottenham manager came against Ole.

Pretty damming, but none of it surprising.

Very glad to see him go - and this write-up doesn't surprise me in the slightest; it's basically a carbon copy of what happened at Chelsea in his second spell and United too - but I'm still more annoyed at Levy and Lewis right now.
