It was bad timing that Kane missed out on playing in the final though.

Spurs will never win a trophy

The modern Spurs teams are absolutely hopeless at winning finals, they just have zero bottle.

City are miles better than us tbf Sandy

But the Sissoko sub was criminal. At 65 minutes we had a chance to Nick it

We played a very good Man City side who are beating all and sundry this season, not sure we were ever expected to win, not a surprise at all

Add this along with the 9 FA cup semis lost in a row and you have Tottenham in a nutshell

Son was so bad

Aurier brainless as usual

Hojberg decided to leave his post and was to blame for the goal

Kane was clearly injured and nowhere near good enough. Took too long to release the ball at times.

Spurs bottled it big time, as usual

Negativity. At least 5 times from our throw in half way into their half and two touches later it is safely in the arms of Lloris.

Did he?

Kane was clearly not 100% fit, lacked a bit, maybe should have started with Bale and brought him on if needed

To be honest they are better, because they have spent a billion more. I am fast going off the modern game, when one or two teams have such a massive financial advantage over the rest.

It is going to be very difficult for any team to be able to compete with City, with their massive financial advantage.

The ESL may be dead, but quite frankly it is still a very unhealthy unlevel playing field, and until the authorities find a way of levelling up, the Prem is going to end up like the Scottish Prem.

Or on the contrary - ironically more and more PL clubs would be purchased by sugar daddies and oil fields

Sandy Spurs and City both have billionaire owners, the only difference is that the City owners are prepared to spend money on their club, Spurs don't.

Spurs owners are here to make a buck while Cities owners want to improve their image.

The one common denominator in all our years of miserable on field success and lack of silverware, is the owners.

Will we ever learn that if Kane is not fit there is no point playing him ?
