Do the job and we'll tell ya. Relied on Forest to beat Huddersfield and you messed that one up.
( Pretty certain when the shoe was on the other foot and you required a positive Derby result we delivered. Time to return the favour!)
Desicafu - I thought the proper response would have been some along the lines of:
‘I’d rather went down...even if it meant to the Vanarama National League, than ever support Forest’
Call yaself a proper supporter?
Feel like a Footballsl*t already this season relying on SO many clubs including Middlesbrough twice, Brentford, Blackburn, Luton and Cardiff so might as well add Forest.
The ref did them a massive solid with the red card for the Rotherham player who clashed heads
The blind leading the blind comes to mind.
The Wednesday v Forest game has been moved to a 12.30 kick-off. If we can somehow beat you then it really puts the pressure on Derby
We aren't and never will rely on Forest for anything. Even if Wednesday win and we lose the next game it is still up to us to avoid relegation and if we don't then so be it.

And everyone knows deep down Spart, you don’t really believe that
Good try though
To be honest if I had to rely on Forest, I’d be seriously worried. As stated, it’s still in the sheep’s hands to save their season, assuming of course that Rotherham capitulate. Other than play off positions for the four who have already qualified, it maybe the only game in the championship with anything riding on it. It’ll be very nervy, as was ours against Ipswich 3 (ish) seasons ago. I’d still put my money on the sheep surviving, but it will make compelling viewing, if it happens.
To be fair if the boot was on the other foot we’d all be gloating so dont mind the Forest lads having some fun. The table doesn’t lie so we’re getting what we deserve, but there isn’t exactly clear daylight between the teams, so beware for the future ! In the meantime enjoy the moment π
I think we’re done for by the way, and if not, then unless there is some miraculous change over the summer, just a stay of execution.
I for one aren’t gloating, not long ago we had last survival, we then nearly made the play offs, then this season back to scrapping for survival. Look at Barnsley, they survived on the last day last season, now there in the play offs. The championship is a very strange beast and this season has probably been the craziest ever. As you say the table doesn’t lie, and it won’t at the end of the season. Your destiny is almost in your own hands, not with standing Rotherham, I won’t say good luck, as I’m sure you’d think I was being patronising which I’m not, if your good enough and have the rub of the green, then you’ll make it. Let’s see what the table says at the end.

Wicklow you’re right, it’s all swings and roundabouts - and joking apart, it wasn’t in our far too distant past when we were in exactly the same situation...and worse...cos we actually went down for a few seasons
The 1 thing you have in your favour is points in the board - 1 win out of your next 2 games will see you safe
Saying that, if the worse does happen, what on earth will happen with your proposed takeover - do you think the poorn-star will pull out?
The ownership of the club is the most worrying aspect, I would expect relegation to devalue the club (even moreπ). The takeover proposals have been somewhat underwhelming and not confidence boosting too date!
I expect Forest v Wednesday to be a draw and I don’t see Rotherham picking up much more than 2 pts from their remaining games.
On Rotherham, they have really played to win their games, which given the amount they had in hand a couple stale 0-0 would have made a bit of a difference! I am unsure if that reflects well or badly on them π€·βοΈ
2 draws are good enough for Derby so the reward of winning is slightly trumped by the need to self preserve! It will be interesting to see the approach!
For what it is worth, I expect Derby to survive and like Forest be better next year with both having reduced expectations, stripping back to basics and most importantly playing in front of home support again
At the start of the season with Coco in charge I bet £50 that Forest would finish higher than us. Trouble is I've forgotten who I had the bet with, was it you Spart?

You are spot on Scouse, I bet £50 that Forest would be higher up the league than Derby. So come on Rev pay up.
I'll tell you what Rev, please give the money to a local charity and let us know the receipt number.
