Quote from DF today "“They have the same players that got them into a strong position in the table earlier in the season and they have plenty of good experience" All except one I suppose, but nobody has satisfactorily answered the question as to why its got so bad now? It aint going to get better either. Lets hope for some pride and effort at least. It is Peterborough after all. Agaist all percieved wisdom I think they may bottle it and well achieve an unlikely 2-1 win. John Jules, Copps.
Posh 3-0 Rovers
Not hopeful at allπ
Logic clearly says we should get a beating, but I would really like to stop a promotion party tonight. They will be going up, but let it not be confirmed tonight. It seems it is between them and Hull for the League One Champions Title. Basically I'd like that to be Fergie rather than GM, but that would mean them probably having to beat us twice. Recently we have a surprisingly good record against them.
I wonder which players are isolating? DFP says Copps has non-covid related illness.
It seems we have a ref that does not throw around too many cards - fewer than 2 per game this season.
Like Nookie, I'll go for an unlikely 2-1 win with James scoring the first. With neither J-J or Copps starting, Nookie might want to change his prediction.
Yes I probably should make it 4-0 to them but Ill stick with 2-1 Bogle or James
Jason Tindall for long shot to be next manager
Well what can I say, two ex managers who left us quite recently are both going up, one as champions. Oh how I wish we would of backed McCann when he wanted to bring in Wilks, strengthen the core of the team and go for the title, instead we sold our main man, other players on less money, everything on the cheap. Yet here we are, waiting to get a damn good thrashing from one of the ex managers, by a team the only a few months ago were well below us. Let us hope fergie has a soft spot for us and once it gets to five, ease off a bit.
After all its their promotion party tonight, then back at our place on the last day for celebration πΎ
They score 5 or more tonight, almost gets me a season ticket for next year π
On another note, Richie Wellens coming out the Crown in Bawtry this morning with a big gentleman. Dont know if he was on his way fir an interview or had been yesterday and was leaving for home.
Well, I was going to forecast 4-0 to Petrrborough but then forgot to make my prediction. So nil points to me. After 30 mins though, it seems that I may have been overoptimistic!
Gobsmacked. Haven't seen the performance but a great result given the past 3 months.
This result has proved that the ability was always there; such a pity that it was dormant for so long.
Crazy! After their second goal it looked like they would get a cricket score. Although he did miss a good chance, that was the best I've seen Lokilo play all season. The Rovers played with some heart in the second half, but still gave the Posh too many chances. Still, with that effort in some earlier games, things would look different.
Will the real Donny Rovers please stand up
