I actually dont think we have seen Hagi playing in his best position yet. For me he is more of an out and out number 10 for me rather then coming in off the wide area.

But we dont really set up like that.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's how I see it too.

I think in later years he'll drop deeper and ping the passes about in a league where he gets a bit more time on the ball.

He is so two footed and so quick thinking with some of the stuff he does. He is ideal for opening up defences from a central position.

Better judges than us will have seen what he is capable of at European level and decide accordingly.

Your man Hagi seems to be the type of player who is either very good or anonymous, with little inbetween. If he's on it he stands out and he inevitably assists a goal, but on other days you wouldn't know he was playing.

Like Ntcham when he was at Celtic, he needs to find consistency otherwise he'll not progress and he'll waste what talent he has.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Think this sums him up well. On ability he would play every week but too often he has little impact on games.

I think people need to take age in to account though, and by that I don't mean feel sorry for him but understand that players generally get better with age, physical development and experience. Morelos is miles better than when he joined us at 22, Kent as mentioned above is massively improved. At Celtic guys like Christie and Rogic were very raw and inconsistent at the same age.

Hagi is nowhere near the finished article but there's lots to work with. In technical terms he's got everything you need for a number 10.

The OP's article and suggestions of valuations are nowhere near as ridiculous as some suggest.

I remember one especially saying that Kent has no end product...

Kents progression has been impressive.

He had a quiet spell mid season but over the piece he has had a terrific campaign and we need to try and keep hold of him.

It looks like Leeds interest wont go away but unless they go to £20m we need to resist it I think.

I actually think Kent would thrive in a mid table EPL team who dont face packed defences every week.

posted on 27/4/21

I hope we keep hold of Kent. He seems settled here and thrives on being a "star" player.

But money talks and so far £15m isn't enough to get sat down at the table.

I think it might be prudent to await the financials before deciding whether or not anyone sits down at any table.

Rangers may be forced into some quite drastic action or alternatively be able to lean back in their comfy armchairs, pull out the big cigar and wave away “derisory” offers with contempt.

Unless of course there are some out there who somehow think that their club has been immune to the disastrous consequences of this pandemic.

You only need to look at Celtic’s latest accounts for an idea on the impact on what is viewed as one of the strongest and most financially viable clubs in the game.

I read this week that Club1872's shares will be diluted.

King is making a James Hunt of them.

Rangers have been lifting their knickers and taking any commercial deals they can get at the moment - I have no problem with that.

Rough times for everyone.

Celtic are a PLC so quite possibly very different.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
They’ve just purchased £430k ‘worth’ of shares, but that’s a drop in the ocean compared to the £26 million of shares that have been issued since last September/October time-their shares have been diluted heavily this season.

I think both clubs’ accounts will be frightening for this season. We’ll get a fair idea about Celtic’s because we publish our interims. Rangers stopped doing that a couple of years ago...

Not in the slightest, but nobody can surely believe anything other than terrible financial results for any sporting business over the last year and that will significantly affect how they are able to move forward or not.

Did Rangers turn down the £25m at the last minute or did Alfie decide that he wanted to stay in this country and continue to subject himself to the constant stream of racist abuse that he has to suffer here?

BTW how is Ainsley Harriot's sister getting on these days.

Not sure if that comment was attempting to make light of racism or to down play the impact or seriousness of racism.

Idiotic either way. Glad Morelos and helped us to win the league
