Other than Pierre, Ndombele, Son, Kane, Lucas.

It would not bother me one bit if anyone else left that team. The squad is that bad and needs a total rebuild. Levy & Enic have set us back 5/6 years min.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Didn`t Poch buy Sanchez, Aurier, Sessignon and N`dombele for the combined fee of £154 million. What a complete waste of money.

Sanchez and Aurier are the future of this club, according to you Sandy fella

Haven't you spent the last 12 months telling everyone how great Sanchez & Aurier are...............

Is this a realistic scenario you're trying to build or some absurd dream you've had? There's no way levy will sanction the sale of that many players and bring that many in. It's just gonna happen. The way the climate currently is, the transfer market will be deserted, there'll be a huge increase in loan signings all over the league with clubs eager to get players off their wage bill but to think we're gonna find buyers for those players and reinvest in like for like playing staff is just not gonna happen.

What on earth has Lloris done to be kicked out? He's up there with Allison and Ederson as one of the top 3 keepers in the league, if not better if you drill down into his stats. You're also not taking into account English and homegrown talent and how valuable they are under current rules.

I personally don't think we should be making any judgements about players in or out until the new manager has had a look. We're all making judgements about players right now based on their form under Jose, which was abysmal across the board. That has more to do with Jose than the players. Give them a chance under a manager they'll run through brick walls for.

Lloris has one year left on his contract and I'd be surprised if he wants to extend with us and I'm not sure I'd even want us to

Think it's time to make a change there

be a shame to see him go but see your point Chris, im easy with him going or staying but the replacement has to be right. Signing GKs is risky business

I think they are OK, but certainly not worth what our previous manager paid for them. To be fair Poch wasn`t great in the market, he spent a lot with not a lot to show for it.

Lloris has been excellent last couple of months. He would be the last one I would get rid of. As you say very little is going to happen though. Money is at a premium for every club right now.

You still fantasise that the manager has a say in transfers at Spurs

posted on 27/4/21

yeah i won't be up in arms about him staying, he's still a great shot stopper and is great around the dressing roomn which you need when you're 'rebuilding'

I think selling him is the better business decision though

I watched few games from the season 2015-17, and players like Davies and Sanchez were playing some awesome football, including defending with last ditch tackles and Davies pinpoint crosses into Kane.

Amazing how much a mana manager can improve players!

Lloris was one of the few that turned up in the final. In fact, apart from a brief dip he's had a good season in what has been a disastrous season on the whole for us. If he stays then good, and if he leaves then we need to make sure we get a top keeper in to replace him.

Aside from the numbers of ins and outs, which rarely happens, why are you keen to sell Jack Clarke? He was playing regularly and doing well at Stoke before his injury. Surely we'd just loan him again. It's not like anyone will give us near what we paid at this point.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I think we just need to get players out of the door for which there will be takers. Sell Clarke, with a first option buy back, uplift clause, get a few million through the door...or have a player out on loan contributing nothing to us. At this stage i'd bank the money and spend it on someone who will contribute to the here and now.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
A few million if we're lucky. If he does well on loan and makes the squad the season after we could have a 30m player on our hands.

posted on 27/4/21

We don`t need a GK, Hugo is good for a few season yet, and we have much more urgent areas of the squad that need improving upon, so wasting money buying a new keeper at this time would be stupid.

The squad does not need major surgery either, it needs a manager who can get the best out of it and 6 or 7 players need upgrading.

Upgrades to Aurier, Doherty, Sissoko, Sanchez, Winks, Vinicius and probably Dier will improve our squad drastically.

As for the OP:

1. Sam Johnson and also loan some older 2nd keeper, Gazzaniga is leaving.

4. Denzil Dumfries

9. Joachim Andersen

16. Boubakary Soumaré, never gonna happen

18. Marcel Sabitzer

21. Keep Bale another season

24. Loan someone like Giroud

just so we can hear fans cheer him

idk saves a signing in that position

happy to just keep Lucas there though, signing a wing forward whoever itll be will be a big outlay wages and transfer fee.

Lucas and Lamela can both go and Sabitzer and Sessegnon can replace them in the squad

Sessegnon should be replacing Davies

I’d rather see what an attacking manager can do with them first

Dele Ali was rubbish in the last 2 seasons of Poch’s reign... what makes you think he’s going to perform for a new manager?
The guy is a waste of space... no desire anymore!!

posted on 27/4/21

Dele had 14 goals and 17 assists in Poch's second to last season and then in his last season he was playing out of position in a shiiite side whilst struggling with injuries
