So would I but have seen enough to know they just won’t cut it. Bale can barely play with any intensity these days and whats the point playing a bit part on his huge wages.
Dele.. honestly think we will loose him for nothing.
Doubt there will be any takers and we are stuck with him anyway.
Going to be a slow rebuild and any new manager hopefully will be given time.

i'd like to see Dele in the hole and NDombele threading balls through. That would be a great link up IMO but Dele needs to really up his game and work rate if he is to play in that position.

Can Dele do it on today’s game. Nope. Comparing to the top attacking players of City and others and how they use the ball there is no comparison. Dele is no where close.
Dele hasn’t done a bean for years since Dembele stopped carrying him and others.
The guys had been poor or average for years .Some fans are indeed deluded.

Are you saying he was rubbish whilst hitting over 30 goals and assists still? Because if so you're the deluded one in this exchange.
Dele literally had a respectable season A YEAR AGO - he averaged a goal or assist every other game in the league whilst we were terrible. It still wasn't close to his best but he was an asset. people speak about him like he hasn't done it for 5 years or something

Yeah I think both sides do. He doesn't have to be starting every week regardless of form like he often did under Poch. Neither should we be forcing him out of the club.
I'm confident that if he plays regularly he can be decent for us. Especially if we get a progressive manager like ten Hag.

Expected goals and assists?
Dele has been a victim of Mourinhoball, his confidence must be shot to bits, people also have short memories.
What Dele is though, is a proven PL performer and has regularly way exceeded by way of output, several others, who seem to get a free ride.
Under the right manager, Dele should rediscover form, I reckon if somebody like Harry Redknapp was managing him, he would be smashing it again. Time will tell what happens, but is not a player we should be looking to sell. Sell the proven dross and keep the proven quality should be the plan moving forward.
unless a large offer came in (it wont) then i would probably keep Dele. He is a bit inconsistent and frustrating BUT he is a player, that when playing at his best, is very different kind of player to anything else we have, and i cannot even think of many players similar to him in general. diversity like that is important in a squad, and while he might not be a regular starter, having him as an option wouldnt be bad. i would be getting rid of several others before him.
his attitude needs to be right though, and he needs to want to play and force his way back into the england setup. its sad to see how his career has progressed.
I wonder if the armed robbery has had an effect on him. Must be hard to get your head in the right place after that.
Bring in the tranny banger and Dele will be back to his best
