Ruben Dias, future captain?
Interesting.
I used to stand right at the front of the Kippax as a lad - It was great to hear the players shouting at each other and you realised it wasn't that different from Sunday League football.
Foden: fack this, I wanna get some skag money by robbing an old lady.
Sterling: Right on OG.
Dias: wish that prince harry impersonator would stop thinking he’s Platini...

Top player and great bit of business buying him
Stones benefits playing next to him

Same here as a young lad, bottom left of the Kippax near the away supporters. Always a great atmosphere down there, rammed but always a good position to watch the game.

grate artical
love this kinda stuff
particularly as it gives the impression that the ref wanted 2b fare purely becuse it was a CL semi finale
gives clear impression if was a league game against lower table teams he wud b less concerned.
which is a disgrace.
Great piece OP.
I maybe alone in thinking this but KDB has had his least effective season technically. Even in the last few games I have felt he hasnt played well at all, including Gundo.
But he more than makes up for it with his closing down and the leadership he has shown in the first half of the season when things werent great and in the last few months.
Its the main difference between him and Sterling. Sterling just doesnt work as hard for the team as he used to.
It’s not my work btw 😂
I agree, does feel as though Kev hasn’t been as effective, haven’t checked how his stats add up though! They have all played a lot of football in a short space of time though too
Kev definately improved after his contract was sorted out.
Would still prefer to see Dias as captain next season.
