If people really want change, sometimes you have to go the extra yard - even if it is uncomfortable.

This will make the news tonight, and the Glazers will be aware of it, whereas a few dozen anti-ESL tweets... probably not so much.

Good on what. That was hooliganism invading the pitch etc. Prtirst but do it peacefully
---
Yh because peaceful protests will surely work like they have for 15years
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So you want this to happen for every home game theb u til they go. Good luck with that

The green and gold movement achieved feck all, Goofy, but the underlying reasons for it are still there, and the Super League fiasco's opened everyone's eyes to how far these people will go. We want them gone, and I fully expect protests like this to ramp up, whether we agree with them or not.

The owners are immune to fines and bans as they pay using the club's funds, after borrowing funds to buy the club, and have no real interest in football itself.

Inconvenience is one of the few ways to irritate them so I salute the die hard fans prepared to make a statement.
Saying that, of its a one off it'll be pointless.

About a few weeks ago I was abused to discriminatory levels by two United fans on here because I dared say a bad word about the Glazers.

How things have changed so quickly!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Who were the United fans? That's probably more the issue.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
ManUsince52 and Don something or another. With the way they jumped to their defense so quick I wouldn't be surprised if they were family/friends of The Glazers.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Surprised at that to be honest, that's out of character
----------------------------------------------------------------------
For 52 it is.

After what the Super League owners tried to do I'm amazed it's only United and Chelsea that have tried to stop games. We need the owners of all 6 clubs that tried to wreck English football out of the game.

should have done that 30 years ago when the premier league was set up

english fans have played along to the corporate take over of football more than anyone else

now, 30 years after the premier league , everyone's getting their knickers in a twist about a mid week european super league that's run as a closed shop by the elite clubs

decades too late

Every one who has a gripe can violently protest and spoil it for the greater majority. A sound punishment must be handed out to prevent such occurrences in future.
United by next week may find themselves out of European football altogether.

Hi loachy, from a Man Utd fan. Thanks for your backing. I'm a Man Utd fan but have a soft spot for Liverpool. They have top fans and are a proper club. Hope you win the league next season. That's coming from a big Man Utd fan as well btw.

As an Arsenal fan I’ve done none of these things for the last 6 years.

KSE are still here though.

Am I to never expect to be able to see my team play again?

As someone already said on this thread, passive protests don’t work.

pie in the sky stuff

UEFA have fack all clout over the super clubs
plus UEFA is corrupt as fack, and fleece the revenues from the CL

the big clubs know this and want to set up their own competition that will generate alot more money for them, without UEFA corruption

UEFA can do as they like, the super league (mid week competition) will happen eventually
