Yes... Aurier had a good game...
But this was against the worst team in the Premier League...
Against better opponents, his defending & distribution is usually poor...
He’s not good enough for Spurs
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Who is? Doherty?
........................................................
Doherty is actually worse...
Neither Doherty or Aurier are good enough...
I would sell both... buy a better right back... & have Tananga as back up... or bring Foyth back
Foyth is very good on the ball... just a bit rash... he has a lot of potential anyway
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think you'll find that Foyth is very similar to Aurier good going forward but very rash defending would be no improvement
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Foyth is your answer to RB? Really?
To be fair, Foyth doing well for Villarreal is kind of on par with Aurier doing great against Sheffield United. Neither means either are good enough.

Aurier’s contract is due to run out, soon
I would not be offering him a new one, that’s for certain... bloody liability
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He has been one of Spurs better players this season, and two assists yesterday, make him anything but a liability.

We played what is a Championship team yesterday.
Everyone looked good against them.
But the truth is the whole back four needs to be replaced. Reguilon should probably be kept, but he may get called back to RM. Toby is still good but pushing his time limit. Aurier, Sanchez, ... are just not good enough.
Pity of it all is that Kane may have lost patience. His advisors are certainly telling him so.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No chance RM will call back Reguilon back, he hasn’t been that great this season

What he needs is a little coaching on his defensive duties.
He's the best LB we've had since Danny Rose in his good years.
And to say "he hasn't been great" is too stupid for words...look at the whole team...have they "been great"??

Even Cresswell at West Ham has out performed him, don’t go making excuses for his below par performances this season.

Agree, Regulion is well overrated by lots of our supporters. He is no more than OK. even going forward, he isn`t doing much at either end of the pitch these days. He missed an absolute sitter on Sunday. Compared to Aurier on the other side, who provided two excellent assists.
Hopefully next season he will improve. He definitely needs to.
Aurier's brain farts are completely unacceptable though. if you remove all of them you have a good RB

What?!!!!
He’s given away plenty of free kicks, that have led to goals... West Ham at home, City cup final, spring to mind...
Plus that penalty vs Leicester
He’s a bloody liability
One decent game against the bottom of the table side, does not make him one of our better performers this season....
The whole defence has been shocking this season, Aurier included!!!!
