I don’t think there’s much going on at all. I think we’re sat in limbo waiting on Howe to make his mind up.

It is a bit of an odd situation.
The rumour I heard that kinda makes some sense is that Howe is still on gardening leave from Bournemouth and it will cost him £400k if he joins another club before June.
If thats the case Celtic should just stump up the cash and get on with things as there seems like a helluva lot of work for the new man to be getting on with before the CL qualifiers in July.
I would imagine it would be one almighty let down/suprise if it isnt Howe now though.

I get the part on Howe with his deal at Bournemouth but surely he could still be announced now and just not start until then?
If there is an issue with the £400k surely its better just to pay it given it might impact season tickets otherwise. Not sure when Celtic's are out but could rightly understand a bit of hesitation with no Manager, no clarity on structure and no guarantee of fans being back in for the season. At least Rangers can get away with it through a feel good factor, Celtic dont really have that just now.

Good name, and decent scoring record in Belgium.
13 goals, 3 assists in 28 games.
Youtube would also suggest he's a player....
I think it is great that once again we are doing business early.
We have clearly made a decision on Zungu and let his club know. And we have now got Sakala signed up.
Plus we brought Wright and Simpson in early and Ofobor is also signed up.
Time will tell if the business is good business.
But here we are adding to and (hopefully) improving a winning squad ahead of next season whilst celtic have no Manager, DoF/Head of Recruitment and an expected need of 6-10 players for next season.
