Don, seeing as we've lost out on Nagelsmann and ETH, and the very idea of Rodgers coming to Spurs seems daft, then Potter is definitely one of the best we can get. Don't just judge based on where Brighton are in the league. Judge on where they should be based on their performances.

It's Potterttino all the way for me.

It's hard not like the way Potter has Brighton playing. I'm at the stage now where anyone will do. As long as they play attractive football to please the masses I don't really care anymore.

After Jose not too fussed if they have winning calibre either. Spurs will always be Spurs LOL

Still think someone leftfield like Marcelo Gallardo would be awesome. Current manager of River Plate. Bielsa student and has won 10 cups in 6 years. No league title however.

After Ten Hag signed on for Ajax, I have no idea now. Have to trust the bald one to get it right. Should be fun.

That's become a no thanks to some dreadful form and a couple of 9-0 batterings.

I think Rodgers would be a fool to come here. Leicester have an awesome well balanced squad with some really good young exciting prospects like Forfana, Madders, Ndidi, Justin and Barnes to name a few.

If he comes to us it's for money only. They will be in the Champions League next season. He would be mad to leave their owners who are a millions miles better than Levy in every single way.

If Poch fails to win the French league and CL don't rule him out.

Not winning the league in France is surely a sackable offence even if he did have half a season. He had plenty of time to catch up.

Rodgers if he were willing to come, but realistically Potter.

It's a shame it's come to this, but we're now in the same situation we were pre Poch. Levy and Jose have dismantled most of his good work. The squad is much stronger than 2014 though so the new man will have plenty to work with.

Would much rather gamble with Potter, who even if it doesn't work out will at least lay the foundations for a progressive possession based style of play.

Rodgers has as good as said he's not interested anyway. Only small chance I could see him coming is if they miss out on CL to us, and how likely is that? And would you then even want a manager who bottled top 4 twice in a row?

Pep once he finally wins City the CL

I like Potter but show some ambition. How many seasons has he been a prem manager? Or we saying now that experience or pedigree doesn't matter.

It is possible to get a manager that plays progressing football that also has a history of winning things. It isn't mutually exclusive although that's what Jose would have us think.

Who fits this description? The only 'winners' available I can think of are Allegri and Benitez. Both play boring football and haven't managed at the top level for a while.

How many seasons had Poch been a PL manager before we got him? Experience has some significance but let's not pretend like it's a big factor. It isn't.

Do we want a manager who cannot win the French League with PSG?

I’m pretty sure we’ve should’ve come to the conclusion that winning stuff else where means nothing

There is something exciting about a young progressive manager who hasn't won much, getting the chance at a bigger club.

Managers like Ancelotti and Benitez who have been around the block and won stuff, don't really excite.

What if by some miracle we achieved top 4 at the expense of Leicester. Would people still want Rodgers then?

Nah. He would show himself to be a bit of a bottler. We want someone to try and shake that out of us, not make it worse.
