Jose fast becoming one of those Alan Pardew/Marco Silva type managers that somehow continue to get jobs no matter how many clubs they have failed at.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
who is Marco Silva managing now?

He`ll probably do alright at Roma, he won`t have the misery of ENIC`s lack of ambition dragging him down, which will mean it will not turn toxic so quickly. There is less chance he will resort to scapegoating players at a team that has proper ambition, because the results should invariably be better.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not sure you can Roma are any more ambitious than us. No trophy since 2007.

Actually to be fair he's not in a job at the moment, I assumed he was abroad somewhere.

Next Spurs manager perhaps

It's kind of like seeing Robert De Niro's career with Jose.

He’s not called the Portuguese Pulis for nothing.

I look forwards to watching Joss's Roma against the Hotspurs, when it happens.
He joined Inter after leaving Chelsea and somewhat demolished us ( Ancelotti) over 2 legs in an especially tactical game. I expect more of the same and look forwards to your comments at that time.

Jose will no doubt win a trophy with them. Meanwhile Spurs are scrambling around for a manager.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I reckon even Jose could win a trophy in Italy. Ashley Young just won the league.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

There are the same amount of trophies on offer in Italian domestic football as in the Prem. So it is no easier than over here, especially as Juventus have won their league nine times in a row until Inter won it this season. I would say it is infinitely harder.

'Infinitely harder'?

So impossible, then?

Based on their trophy haul Roma look like the Italian equivalent of Spurs. Few league titles, quite a few domestic cups, and nothing won since a little over 10 years ago.

Can't really see many trophies coming their way with Jose.

They'll have a job being the best team in Rome first of all

If Mourinho doesn't win the league in his first two seasons in Serie A, does that mean that an ageing Ashley Young is better as a right back than Jose as a manager?

Great news. We don't have to pay much compensation and Jose keeps falling down the football pyramid. Also, good to know there is a chairman even more clueless than Levy.

Must be another Ashley Young they've got.
