Great news. We don't have to pay much compensation and Jose keeps falling down the football pyramid. Also, good to know there is a chairman even more clueless than Levy.

What exactly is the deal regarding his compensation? Assume say its linked to him getting another job, others say its linked to him getting another job in the PL (and as this job isn't in the PL, he'll still be entitled to the compensation).

Fairly standard stuff really, compensation is normally to the end of a contracts original term, or until a manager takes up another role in football.

I doubt Jose’s contract has any different clauses in it, so
he would only be entitled to payment up to the starting date at Roma.

They were offered a compensation package of a total of £8 million but rejected it so they were put on gardening leave instead.

All the staff that have left along with Jose will be paid their wages as normal till the date they start a new job.
