Protests - Game Theory

It’s more like cutting off the nose, because the nose is riddled with a filthy and voracious cancer which is disfiguring the face, a very real mortal risk to the entire body, and good for nothing but attacking with a scalpel and dumping in a biowaste bin to rot.

"Prisoner’s dilemma is a common game theory problem. If both prisoners cooperate they will maximize their outcome but they usually don’t"

That's not true. In prisoner's dilemma co-operating (staying silent) is the worse of the two choices that an individual can make. Betraying the other prisoners is the logical choice all the time.

If you betray then your best case is complete freedom (if the other person stays silent) and worst case is 2 years in prison (if the other person betrays).

If you stay silent your best case is 1 year in prison (if thebother prisoner also stays silent) and worst case is 3 years in prison (if the other person betrays).

At the same time potential buyers would also look at the scenario and wonder if they made the investment and the fans decide to hold them hostage for another slight, perceived or otherwise, they would probably also lose money on their investment.

Would think that the fans involvement in awful decisions like the ESL be factored into the prospective investors calculation of the Enterprise Value.

JPM was downgraded after they were revealed to be the financier of the ESL.

I'd bet that the Glazers could sell the club for £5.0bn if the super league got the green light.

Sorry. More like their asking price will be £5bn if they got the super league to happen. ***

Police will deal with them next time

Pretty shambolic how underprepared they were on Sunday

Looking forward to protestors getting their ass kicked next time round

A slight?

You make it sound like the owners have upped the price of a meal deal in the concourse.

Not that I think the Glazers are going to sell anytime soon but any potential new owner needn't worry about protests and being as widely despised as the current owners are if they simply run the club as it should be, don't treat it as a cash cow and don't marginalise its core support.

This guy actually denies being a Glazer shill.

The flaw in the OP's premise is that the aim of the protests isn't to replace the Glazers with another owner who wants to maximise the amount of money they can extract from the club, but to assert influence and ideally create the conditions in which supporters can acquire a (majority) stake in the club.

You really are an idiotic cretin Lurker.

You want protesters who have a legal right to protest, to get a state sponsored kicking... if they dare to protest.

These protests will not force the Glazers to sell.
