New contract for 6 months decent work is not bad
Where as many of our fans will see it as a huge win for us to keep him....I think if we give him 400k a week we will live to regret it. Bit like the Rooney and DDG contracts.
Can only imagine what Bruno's going to want. He's been far better for us than Pogba has been after all so he'd be rightly cheesed off with what he's earning.
I also think that if there was no Covid and clubs actually had money he'd still want out. He's probably realising this is the best he's gonna get.
He's a talented player no doubt but I do cringe at how our fans think if he leaves we are finished. We've finished 5th and 6th with him in the team already. He's not ripped up any trees for us whilst being here. The odd flash of brilliance aside he's been a mediocre signing really.

It's not like me to stand up for the Bertie in chief but I think he's implying Pogba won't want the same wage he's currently on that he signed up years ago.
And he's right. He won't.
again, over the last 3 years we have paid sanchez £400k a week to go out on loan, ddg £375k a week to warm the bench, and romero £80k a week to eat empanadas at home, so i don't think paying pogba whatever we may pay him will be to blame for our wage issues.
though i have no doubt that he will be blamed for our wage issues by some on here.

Solskjaer is a genius. 2018/19 CL finalists Ole side kept a clean sheet in the 2 league games against Spurs and Liverpool winning 1 and should have won the other. 4 clean sheets in the league against the 2 finalists in the league this year. We should have had a penalty in both games against Chelsea and were a yard away from getting 1 at home to Man City.
