Relegation Market

Anguissa, Andersen and Areola are the stand outs from Fulham - but 2 are only on loan anyway.
Pereira will probably get interest.

Sander Berge I think would be a really great buy for literally any team in the league

Matheus Pereira if you want a budget attacking player. Miles better than anyone else in the relegated team.

He can play across all 3 attacking spots and I think he can be a good signing for us if we decide not to pursue Sancho for whatever reason.

Most reports say clubs could get Anguissa for £20m which is very good value

What I had written down yesterday:
-----------------------------------------------------------
WBA: Pereira has to be the best player of all the relegated teams. Johnstone (linked with Keepers lately and he's one of them)

Fulham: Lookman, Areola, Andersen (loans). I like Anguissa but I don't think he's United quality.

Sheffield: Sander Berge probably. A younger player whose still got room to grow

de Cordova-Reid from Fulham, Pereira and Robinson from Brom. All at an age where they should in their prime.

Think all the teams that have gone down are pretty poor so there's not much on offer.

Johnstone and Pereira from WBA

Maybe Berge from SFU although I've barely watched them this season

Areola and Anderson already proven to not be good enough for big clubs haven't they? So would rule them out

Tete is an excellent defensive RB for Fulham but appears to have injury issues

Not relegated, but I can see Brighton getting picked apart, especially if Potter goes. White and Bissouma must be on some big clubs' radar

I think we were looking into White last summer but looked elsewhere. Good shout.

Feel like Bissouma is gonna leave this summer even if Potter stays.

Where is Potter going anyways?

Not sure there is anyone there who would be any more than a squad player.

We have enough of those.

Lamptey of Brighton would be a good buy

Seems he could end up at Spurs or Arsenal. I'm not convinced personally but all the hype is going that way.

Don’t see the hype around Potter either. He’s barely done any better than Chris Hughton position or points wise.

Getting your team to string a few passes together doesn’t make you a top manager.

Brighton play some good football and Potter gets a lot out of his players.

posted on 13/5/21

Maybe Spurs feel like he's another Poch in the making?

Think he's gotten a lot out of Brighton but Spurs/Arsenal is a bit too much of a step up for him.

posted on 13/5/21

Yeah I’d feel Potter would still be bit of a risk, could easily go either way with him. I’d like to see him at a club with bit better players, maybe like a Southampton or palace, then say if he took over there and got them nearer 8-6th you’d seriously consider him for a team who want to finish top 4

Not relegated but speaking of bottom of the barrel players Alain St Maximin is a good shout

I thought someone would have snapped up Cantwell from Norwich last season.

posted on 13/5/21

Perez at WBA but I'm not sure if he's actually there's or a loanee. He's got way more to offer than WBA have the capability to play

Getting your team to match top six performance statistics is though. Especially by playing good football.

I'd be curious to see how Eddie Howe's Bournemouth side compared with Brighton's 'top six performance stats'.

Sarr and Buendia too. But yeah Cantwell given he’s English too very surprised he didn’t move
