Having read some of your comments on here, I thought it was safe to assume it wouldn't have been bad...

I suspect the Euro 2020 anthem is going to be a big hit in Glasgow.

It's called 'We Are The People' , from Martin Garrix, featuring Bono and The Edge,

Ehhhmmmm - no?!

I honestly didn't see what you had said, so couldn't pass comment on whether it was ill judged or having a go at me. The fact my original comment was deleted made me believe it was what I said was the issue.

Another pop battle for the rangers fans to indulge in.

Little Mix, having lost one of their main stars, could be up against it this time.

This could really crown the season.

Seriously, I am expecting her to use Pollokshields as a reason not to open pubs on Monday.

how are the numbers in hospital?

vaccines taking effect but plenty still need it.

as for the incident yesterday, the may be illegals, but lets be honest you're going to have to be now, the chances of seeking asylum in this country and dwindling by the day.

I know.

What is Hampden these days? 45,000? That allows over 70 seats between fans. Utter joke.

Meanwhile tens of thousands can descend upon pubs the same day in groups of 6 at a time; drink for hours on end indoors and watch the game on tv. How does that work?

Quite incredible that this is the rational thinking of quite senior, eminent and educated physicians and politicians. Staggering.

i think there's around 60 in hospital and 8 in ICU?

with this Indian variant of course it's concerning but it should only be a worry if it leads to a rise in hospitalisations or cases amongst vaccinated people

the numbers seem to indicate that it's spreading amongst the unvaccinated population here and in India itself

get the vaccine in to the areas where the cases are rising

Bolton, Blackburn, Pollokshields

Numbers decreasing all the time albeit as they decrease further the rate slows down. New Indian variant may likely be more transmissible but absolutely no indication it is more dangerous or avoids or evades the vaccine.

4 deaths today down to the Indian variant are the first ones seen.

We seem to have forgotten that we were all told some time ago that as we ease restrictions then cases will increase. In some quarters the thinking is that somehow it’s not acceptable any longer.

Yip, I agree.

Leitch set the groundwork for that a few days ago when he refused to rule out Glasgow staying in Level 3.

With just 63 Covid patients in Scottish hospitals - and six in ICUs across the country - if Glasgow is denied moving up a level it will be an absolute disgrace.

There is nothing in the data to even suggest thinking about slowing or halting restrictions.

But then Sturgeon will happily do it and try to point the finger of blame at the Home Office and, probably, Rangers.

We are heading on a very slippery slope under the SNP - i feel very, very uncomfortable with them at the helm for another five years.

Because those limits were set months ago and we’re supposed to follow the science right?

Sadly a number of people are so excited by the prospect of independence they are willing to overlook the fact those who will be responsible for delivering it are a shambles.

Brechin will have more fans at their League 2 playoff than St Johnstone or Hibs for our showpiece final. In fact there would have been more people in Kenmure Street yesterday than at a cup final and as much as I support them being there surely crowds are either a health risk or they are not? Why is the Scottish Cup final more dangerous than a protest, has COVID learned ethics?
