Just remembered I'm going out for dinner next Friday.

I’m just glad they can’t blame the big bad rangers fans for it... mon the George square :D

Still think it’s amazing they feel the need to report ‘cases’ every single day...

She’s using numbers of cases (not changed to any great degree) and not deaths or hospital admissions to justify this.

Complete shift of goalposts.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I read that the positivity rate in Glasgow is over 35%, and cases are over 80 per 100k-higher than Moray is now.

Still think it’s using a sledgehammer to crack a nut.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Number of cases was never a measure. Also that rate is only in a couple of small districts I think. Might be wrong on that.

And now to cap it all the huge 600 final attendance is now “at risk”. In a 52,000 seater stadium

Polloksheilds and easterhouse

Bolton has a higher infection rate than Glasgow
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Ah. Thought it was a couple of regions

3.5 per cent. Not 35.

For anyone in doubt it is Moray and Glasgow CITY only staying in level 3 - surrounding areas are good to go to 2.

We're not letting 600 in for the final? When Queen's Park got attendances like that it would've been eerie. Now it's too full.

What are we going to learn in 7 days to change it though?

But then Sturgeon will happily do it and try to point the finger of blame at the Home Office and, probably, Rangers.

Exactly!

It’s THE Rangers

Always was

Just how much longer can we afford this?

Carries on and the furlough scheme ends along with no international travel and millions will be out of work with many businesses closing down for good.

What a thought. Practically leading the world in gaining herd immunity with an incredible vaccination programme and we have harsher and stricter controls than almost anywhere else in the Western world.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
As I told you earlier, I genuinely don't think people realise the number of businesses that won't be back. Ever. I sent you guys proof, imagine the stats if you include every business that does what I do?
The worst of this is yet to come. 6 months after furlough ends I reckon. Even worse when you factor in the support that is there and hasn't been used.
It's fvckin disgusting

If we had acted appropriately at certain points of the crisis we wouldn’t be in as bad as a position than we are now

If we can find 200m for a new royal yacht and x amount for more nuclear weapons or whatever we’re buying im sure we can keep this going for a few more months
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Please explain this thinking

Honestly 24 years later they've found a way to really make it improved. Impossible I'd have said

It's an absolute disgrace

I agreed with and followed the restrictions but now its a shambles. There is nothing about the stats now that would justify going into a lockdown never mind staying in one

posted on 14/5/21

And STILL they'll be desperately trying to allow as much international travel as possible with no quarantine while keeping as much as possible locked down domestically because it's the Brazil variant or it's the India variant or it's the fvcking Algarve variant. It's fvcking nuts. Bloody Australians have been partying it up all year and we just don't learn.

Personally I just wonder how much data would have changed in a week since the election and how much its isolated to Glasgow and the West.
