I see a 22 year old player, who has injuries which means he has a stop start career at Leeds.
But when been injury free for a decent length of time, as improved massively during that period, and has done just this the past 2 months.
But let’s get rid of him eh.
I like him as a player. But, he does draw frustration out of quite a few fans. I think he's had a good season on the whole. Saying that, if MB/Orta are beefing up the midfield/10, I would think a player who plays where Roberts currently does, will be on the list.
Too many people think players are robots and can just switch it on like a switch.
Klich was finished two weeks ago after, having a dip in form, and plenty said not good enough and get shut.
Just had two stunning games.
Harrison the same, only a few a ago people didn’t want to sign him.
Why because he’s a a couple of indifferent games.
He’s had a right season.
I wish people would back off Klich and Rodrigo. Both had COVID. Well documented. That sh 1 T has had
a huge affect on both players. Clearly though, both
a massively talented. Glad they're ours.

Agree with all of that. Plus Roberts is young enough to improve a lot more yet.
Hopefully, Harrison's permanent signing is just a formality.
Klich, Harrison, & Roberts all players that suffer from fans blindness to anything that happens in the 70 yards between each box.
So if they go a few games without an assist or goal there's an assumption they didn't do anything.
I think it was our 4th goal against Burnley. KP hit the cross pitch bullet to Jack who stunned it dead before
hitting his own back 4 splitting bullet, inch perfect into the path of Rodrigo. Who then put on a masterclass
of finishing. MB & the players put on a show every week.
Serious question: has anyone in our team had a bad season? I struggle to point to anyone. A couple have
had off games here and there, yes. Very high standard set by all.
More fickle fans
Roberts is a great player and improving all the time
some are way way to quick to judge, paddy only scored 2 in 10, nobody's on his back?

In my opinion Roberts suffered terribly from a loss of confidence, then got a run of games and got better and better. Last couple of games coming on as sub he had a couple of great touches.
But ... I don't see him as a player to take us forward.
I'd let him go. That's what football is about - players come and players go. If we're going to be better, we need 3 top class players this summer - left back and two central midfielders.
Then depending on who else leaves, may need to replace their position (eg Costa, H decides not to stay).
Still to see players like Drameh, Somerville, Gelhardt and Greenwood in the first team
I have no problem if Roberts leaves

Exactly. Take Luke Ayling for example.
Who would want Luke dropped?
Unlike last season, not even one assist or goal this year, yet he has been one of our most consistent and reliable players game in game out.

Not convinced Costa would allow himself to be seen in your 1994 Ford Fiesta
I knew this topic would divide opinion. The key for me is Bielsa's view on him. I can understand a few doubts and would hold my hands up and say before he had the prolonged run of games in a successful team over the last 10 games or so I would have listened to offers in the January window.
Whilst he has missed some excellent chances, he has shown flashes of real quality at times with great feet and energy picking clever passes between the lines. I have to remind myself sometimes some of the borderline miracle transformations that Bielsa has overseen in his 3 years with players like Phillips, Dallas, Cooper and to some extent Harrison.
So bearing in mind that Roberts is 22, the same age Phillips was when Bielsa took over, I would be tempted to stick with him and have another look next year and see if he can progress. Not sure what the risk is in that. Something might just click and those occasional moments of class may become more often. There's going to be fierce competition for places and if he does stay that may well define how his future pans out. Over to you Bielsa.
Roberts has done more than ok. Sure he needs to add goals and improve his decision making, but you can’t fault his development so far and he never hides. Personally I hope he stays and see how far he comes on.
Roberts has value yet doesn't fit in our system, plus he's behind Bamford, Rodrigo and hopefully a Buendia calibre number 10 in the summer, I would sell him if his funds went to making the side stronger. Llorente has more goals this season than Roberts, he's not a midfielder or playmaker like how we use him. He's a good player, but where does he honestly fit in a 4141 system? Perhaps loan him to the championship to play as a striker tonsee if he can bang a few goals in, cos atm, with 0 goals, he's a passenger.
At the risk of repeating myself - Tyler's stats were affected by several very marginal VAR decisions.
And why would he go to the Championship he has looked every inch a Premiership player in the last couple of months.
Ultimately the only thing that matters is if the Boss reckons he can progress seeing Tylers only 22 - If MB is fine with him that's good enough for me.
( Remember the "Paddy ain't good enough for the PL?" - MB knows better)
MB knows better

So true.
Hoping Tyler makes the Wales UEFA squad.
And plays. Will be huge for his continued
development.
Roberts has more than shown his worth the second half of the season.
There were big question marks over him. He was always in and out with injuries and in the run in last season, he was subbed for Pablo at half time in a lot of games. Then this season he didn't really contribute anything in the first half of the season.
But he's been good last 2 months. As the comment above, his stats should be better if it wasn't for VAR and he's set up some great chances that haven't been converted.
Should he be starting every game? Maybe not, but he's worth a place in the squad.

the Offensive tab on this site speaks volumes for me. Someone has to be propping up the others, pity it is one of our three forwards.
If he is underwhelmed by the offer let him move on, he will not be signed by another premier league side and none of you lot who big him up will look back on his time with us with a sense of nostalgia.
