Course it is, these players are not good enough to represent England and shouldn't be, 2nd X1 maybe

Wasn`t totally unexpected, this is a very poor England Test side.

The top players pick and choose when they want to play these days, can't get my head around that situation, surely when Joe public goes to watch England he wants to see the 1st 11

I have no idea, dont follow county cricket, if this is the best we have then something desperately wrong with the system in this country, what is all the money spent on

England beating India will go down to the weather conditions. If its cloudy India are done for.

Certainly not been good last day or so for Sports. Nadal losing in the semi finals of the French Open last night. England on the verge of losing this test and the horrible scenes of Christian Erikson collapsing.

About an hours play today then...certainly no more than up to lunch

People on here saying this is the best 11 available, really makes the situation worse, what has happened to England test cricket, in a worse state than Spurs.

But they would have no issues putting out a white ball team.
Surely got to get this sorted, with the Aussies in the winter we can't even name 2 of our top 5 batsmen

A number of senior players have been out because of rotation, injury, etc (not sure how necessary it all was). Some younger guys have been given a chance, which is fine, but none of them is fully established and some might never make it. If a couple of the less experienced guys can settle in plus some of the old heads come back things would look a good bit better.
