Tbf, most of the things you’ve mentioned have come from United fans.....

he's already a knight in Norway. it would be great if he gets a british knighthood too, especially as he matched maureen's record of getting 2nd place and (possibly) europa

you will get the normal members on here ( take that description as you choose) claiming that Ole isnt up to the job and how he isnt good enough, how he doesnt make substitutions til the end ( which is clearly BS).. how he doesnt rant and rave on the sidelines etc.... but to finish second with a midfield 2 of mcfred, lindeolf at CB and players like James appearing 25 times this season... 2nd and a europa league final and possible is a very decent season.

And United's season isn't finished yet.

For a PE teacher to finish second in a countries Premier division, whilst ousting 18 professional managers, many of whom are vastly more experienced, surely has to be that fairytale story we love to see.

Nevermind that, he didn't with a squad largely made up of Championship level players ffs. I reckon it's an achievement that slightly pips Leicester 2016.

I think you'll find most of us would love agent ole to be knighted but like most double agents he has to work in the shadows and not get the true credit he deserves.

when he is sat there rocking on the bench at 0-2 down to villareal. Its not that he's got no plan. its that he is trying to hold in the celebrations.

How do you think United will fare once things are back to normal with the stadiums full of fans? It’s been suggested previously that United’s players have struggled with the pressure of the crowd at OT. So you could argue that no crowds have played United’s favour and their position is a false one.

I expect all scousers will be cheering us on in the final as it would keep Ole in the job for longer

Greatest manager ever considering he’s working with part-time journeymen gleaned from the lower leagues who give up their spare time to play for him

If your were to read opinions of the Gang of 'United fans' who pollute this page.... some United players are mainly at Pub level, (AWB, De Gae, Linderloff, Maguire, McFred, Matic, Mata, James, Trashford, Martial, and now even Bruno)... never mind Championship level. Of which many of their grandparents could do much better. An even more truly remarkable achievement.

That’s another thing, unlike other managerial Svengali’s such as Arteta, Potter, Ancelotti, Rodgers and Bielsa who’s teams are working to a clear plan and structure, Ole just sends them out and says “Run that way, towards that goal, then when we’ve had a rest in say 45 mins, start running (or walking in some cases) in the opposite direction

Not too much to be concerned with imo. Obviously a poor season, but we finished it off well with 26/30 points, managing to stay in the CL against everyone’s expectations and without doubt we’ll be helped with the return of fans in the stadium.

I’m very optimistic about next season....

Worst title defence since Blackburn? We finished third. There have been teams finished outside the top ten. In fact United have had several worse title defences, like when you finished seventh after your last win years ago.

I’ve never suggested it previously, just read it somewhere. Not sure why you’re so sensitive about it, it’s a pretty reasonable question. Ole’s best season coincides with the absence of fans, so it’s not impossible that there’s something to it.

Liverpool were top at Christmas and ended the season behind a P.E teacher, that’s really poor.
