Mata has to play but its Lingard who shouldn't be in the side imo, very average player. Mata can definitely be effective in teams that play deeper too imo, done it at Chelsea.

probably their strongest midfield and attack imo, but its as much down to the manager as players, had like 58% possession but not a single player has made a clever run, just hold their positions.
I'd play the same but with Schneiderlin over Carrick. Try and build that partnership for the future.
Schneiderlin is overrated imo, think Carrick offers more but can see why they'd want a future partnership
Quit a stable, efficient player. No frills but he allows others to play more advanced.
Carrick is always injured anyway so Schneiderlin should play
