FA Cup
Leicester v Bournemouth
Wow, this was a result no one expected, apart from LC maybe, a defensive performance from the away side that was as good as we have seen all season, wave after wave of attack from the home side as they dominated possession in the first half, with a mix of wasted chances, good goalkeeping, last ditch defending, they couldn't score much to their frustration, second half much the same, Bournemouth soaking it up as Leicester failed to hit the back of the net. However, much drama, the new £375m man Reinier in the dying minutes made space for himself, he played in Vinicius who had made a clever run, he smashed home passed Neuer to give them the late lead, Leicetser pushed everyone forward, but alas it came to nothing to leave them on their knees....
Leicester 0 - 1 Bournemouth
Vinicius (Reinier, 89)
MOTM - Felipe
Spurs v Wolves
A highly anticipated match, with conflicted interests on the side lines, the game was even in the early stages, but the away side took advantage of slack defending from de Ligt, Halaand in his first start, gave the the lead with a smart finish. they managed to hold on until half time to go in 1-0 up. Spurs came out fighting, scored early on and never really looked back, Aguero and Felix linking well to level it up. Spurs started to control the game, even tho Wolves had chances of their own, it was nothing really to worry about, the winner came after a slip from Digne allowed Sancho to find space, Eriksen played him in and he blasted home from an acute angle, the keeper should have done better, but he didn't. This was the winner as both teams had final chances but came to nothing
Spurs 2 - 1 Wolves
Aguero(Felix, 47), Sancho(Eriksen, 69)
Halaand(Silva, 23)
MOTM - Busquets
