Looks like he tore his ACL in a challenge with Maupay.
Definitely a foul, but keeper should be clearing that out. It’s usually the other way round with keepers clearing out anyone in the way

Maupay has jumped with his back to Leno to protect himself, probably expecting keeper to clear him out. Maupay can’t suddenly stop sprinting and if he ran into the legs of Leno would have sent Leno flying.
It’s an innocuous jump from attacker into keeper which you see all the time. Keepers should be clearing anything/everything, happened during week when Ederson wiped out Garcia

looks worse in slo mo or freeze frame, but in real time whats he meant to do, not like he went in studs up or anything intentially looking to hurt him, just unfortunate

"At half time I went to the manager Mikel Arteta to apologise. I never meant to injure the keeper. I jumped for the ball. I apologise to the team and to him as well. I have been through a bad injury, it is hard.
"I just went to get the ball really. When he landed he twisted his knee. It is football, there is contact. I never meant to hurt him. I apologise again and wish him a speedy recovery."
