Eddie Howie big favourite for Celtic job now, think he’ll get eaten alive
Think he would be a good choice
I don’t see it at all. He did absolutely brilliantly with a group of players from lower leagues and took them up to the top league and got them playing brilliantly as a team.
His big money signings all seemed to fail. He’s a south coast guy who had absolutely no pressure. The pressure of the job and more just the goldfish bowl of Glasgow would be too much for him I think.
Well he would be working with a bunch of average players, more experienced than Gerrard, as long as he got rid of Brown he would do just fine, not like he’s just starting out

He had big pressure and expectations on him as a player. Captain of one of the biggest clubs in world. So yea he did. He was used to the big stage and pressure as a person, obv not as a manager.
Would be a totally different world for Howie, getting abuse when he’s with his family from fans, folk driving past his house shouting abuse etc. Pressure to win every week with fans having a meltdown of points are lost etc
And that’s not me saying Gerrard is a better manager at all by the way.

Gerrard had had big pressure on his personal life as a player. Howie would never have had anywhere near the level of same pressure on his personal life at Bournemouth as he would as Celtic manager.
He’d also have never had the same pressure as a manager. But it’s the first point that I think he would struggle with.
