I like to decide early what I want to get to eat or else I'll leave it to the last minute and end up getting summat way unhealthy like a donner kebab

Do any of you lot like pepperoni or is it an acquired taste? I tried it a couple of times on pizzas and in burgers and I always end up taking it off because it was to hard to eat..

You should always get Calzone. Lovely stuff.

Think you getting CL has probably put paid to that one. He seems pretty committed to you lot.

Even if he does well in CL, I couldn’t see him getting a better move than Leeds to be honest.

Apparently out owner is pinning his hopes on Gerrard succeeding Bielsa when he leaves.

That one wouldn’t make sense to me, think Gerrard would be holding out hope for Liverpool job.

Also think it would be a terrible idea to go and try and follow the success Bielsa has had. Anyone will have a hard time following him

Think the idea is that Gerrard also likes to play a similar system? Replacing Bielsa is always going to be a near-impossible task. Just going to have to hope that we are at a point that the inevitable drop-off won't get us relegated

Think everyone had him at some stage

Maybe some similarities but don’t think it’s overly similar. We don’t play with wingers, have Kent and another in number 10 roles, with fbs providing width. Though midfield 3 offers cover think its more fluid while seems Philips plays like Pirlo for you always deep? Defensively we have compact pressing and I suppose we do have a sort of fluid man marking system so probably quite similar.

But still don’t think he’d go to Leeds.

Would have thought he'd learn from Lampard, and not rush into that. Basically the pinnacle of his managerial career, and if he fails then that might just be it.

Lampard went to Chelsea with far less experience than Gerrard will have in 2024.

Gerrard has taken us a massive distance in a short period of time. Prior to him taking over we couldn’t qualify for Europa Group stages, now we get through the Group and compete well with and outdo teams like Porto, Benfica.

Never mind beating Celtic to the league this year. Can look at Scotland as a two horse race but Celtic have had a far far far larger budget than us.
