Nadz I was told off in florence by my cousins husband for asking for a knife in neopolitan dialect, was told to speak correctly and not bring him shame
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's mad
How hard is it for you to switch through between both languages? Are there a lot of differences between Neapolitan and Italian?
yeah i struggle to switch but its mostly the same just differing sounds mostly.
much like here though, if you speak proper yamyam (black country) there's different localised words.
biggest example possibly is the variants for a cob or bap, every region has a different word for it you northerners call is a barm?
Think the Scouse and Mancs call it barm I've always know it as a bap
I'm sure I call it a bap generally, but the pub next door sells cheese and onion cobs - but they're generally of the crusty persuasion
Didn't know there were so many dialects of Italian.

I call it a bread roll but that might be the middle classness.
In Scotland it’s a roll, or a piece if it’s a sandwich.
Fan might call it a buttery though.

yeah its crazy, but italy's only been a united country since 1861, although I'd argue it's not ever fully united
Italia 90, Italy played every game upto the semi in Rome and won 1-0, semi final they played it Naples, vs Argentina the house of Diego imagine hosting a world cup and playing the semi at an away venue

A pretty long read but if you have the time I recommend it.
Thought it was amazing how there were still so many Maradona flags, shirts, posters, memorabilia etc in Naples when I was there
Wait fack you’re joking right
We’re playing ac Milan and you bench vvd and mane
And Thiago
Klopp out of his mind trying to show we’re alright spending fack all this summer
Was thinking about watching that game too!
Vinicius to Camavinga to Rodrigo
The real kids are alright
It was Valverde not Vinicius.
Good goal aswell tbf.
Fair, I only saw the highlight quickly and they were waxing on about Vinicius performance so assumed it was him!
He played good but Coutois was motm. Made some good saves.
Thought Vinicius did look good. Watched the worse game of the lot though ffs!
Had the goals show on BT, was hard to keep up!
I should be able to help with some results this afternoon
I thought it was just Arsenal that were salty, it seems their north london cousins are just as bad

Have you seen the Bundesliga clubs twitter accounts? They banter with fans all the time and some of their replies are hilarious.
Good week for Bellingham and Camavinga
These numbers that we’re seeing from strikers these days
How many goals per calendar year do you reckon fat Ronaldo will score
strikers are tooo protected these days, it's all weighted in their favour, the defenders have no chance, strikers can be "handsy" to protect the ball, but defenders get near them and the strikers drop and "win" pens/free-kicks
winning a penalty is my bug bear, they're not to be won.
nothing worse than like a drogba for example, huge wrecking ball of a man, can power through people but the slightest contact and hes down with a triple roll
