So this morning when booking opened for American Express events I missed out on a Scotland long weekend event ðŸ˜
Was a 4 night stay at the fife arms in mid novemeber, go clay pigeon shooting castle visits distillery visits etc
It’s in a village called braemar
Near balmoral and the closest airport is Aberdeen
but Aberdeenshire, not Fife
Overpriced nonsense to me, only good part of Fife is the coast. Go to St Andrews otherwise better on west coast or further North
When’s the best months to go, May?
Summer and get suffocated by midges
Missed out on being the first batch of Europeans to go to New York as well on 8th November oh well
New yoik is pants after the first couple of times
I liked New York, wanted to live there first time I went. Then visited a mate that lived there and was just as good, but glad I don’t live there
One of my uncles has a couple of businesses there
Been a few times but then again I'm not a fan of that London
London > New York, the city is filthy
But there are things to do there you can’t do here and of course people to see!
All cities are minging
get a tent/motorhome and save your money
I have Avios to burn that’s why I said I can’t book, I’m not spending cash
Even the hotel I’ll get for free, 5 nights and 15 dollars tax
You fancy washing money when you go 😂😂
