We were terrible second half but hats off to Newcastle who came fighting back with only 10 men, they had all the momentum heading into injury time. Back to back stinkers for Konate & Kerkez which is a concern, think we’re gonna be in a few shootouts this season judging by our defending!

Apparently the ball was only in play for 40.8% of the game which is the lowest in the Premier League since 2010!

Constant stoppages but you can’t fault Newcastle for disrupting play given they were down to 10 men. Almost worked too but ultimately came back to bite them with 11 mins injury time

So who are Newcastle going to get

Very difficult to replace Isak, but Larsen would work well with Gordon and Elanga. Three very good cms but lacking a proper creative attacking midfielder

Did this a day or two ago, Stassin being linked with Rennes would give me a headache. Was hoping a late Chelsea/Barca swoop for Araujo/Schlotterbeck could be on cards but don’t think any chance of that
