Fatigue was a problem though fan tbh.

we had just played liverpool and dortmund. the latter being a very difficult place to go while the former very good attacking side.

it took a lot out of our players. we missed mertesacker as well (kos and verm cant play together).

i think had it been a clear midweek or we had played say the same games man united did the last week then we'd have given a better game.

of course we should have played better. I feel wengers tactics were wrong again. hes just using the same tactics vs united as he has done the last 8 seasons. it doesnt work he needs to change our approach vs them.

also we missed a lot of width. when gnabry came on we performed a whole lot better.

we were crap in the first half, the second half we were better we just didnt create any clear cut chances.

but overall feel that this week has been a positive week and had arsenal been offered 2 wins out of 3 before the week started it would have been taken

yeah still good, but Ramsay for me is wasted out wide and maybe should have started Gnabry and maybe drop Arteta for it

Yeah I actually said to my mate we should have taken a risk and started Gnabry.

United expected to see Ramsey start on the wing and from what ive heard united made their pitch wider because they knew we'd be quite narrow.

had we started gnabry they would have been surprised and unprepared. however thats not to say they wouldnt have dealt with him

yeah possibly, but still he is big enough to cope

Gnabry has proven he can play with these groups of players. perhaps wenger didnt think he was ready but it would have been one of those moments when wenger made a surprise selection and it paid off.
