Bit OTT, yes we made mistakes, but don't think Woy did much wrong here, picked IMO the perfect starting lineup, and we were the better side for the majority of the game. Italy were just more clinical than us, and mistakes let us down

I honestly don't know what some of you people were expecting. It was a good performance or such an inexperienced side.

Sterling and Welbeck huge positives for me, but as a team, we need our wingers to help out our FB's more

after today im the most optimitic since the draw was made that we may actually get out of the group

think italy deserved the win but gave a good account of ourselves, would try rooney again on the left simply because i dont think the uruguay full back that plays there will get forward as much

Very glad Maxi Periera is missing our match, he is a brilliant attacking FB that could have really hurt us with his crosses

We needed to press the Italians you can see they don't like it and yet we sat and let them pass it around without breaking a sweat

Just got home, thought we played really well for 70 minutes, Italy were more clinical, but one of the most positive England performances for a long time, I was in a room with 13 Italians and they were extremely complimentary about our performance, the last 20 minutes we were gassed and ran out of ideas, thought Roy got his subs wrong however, unless Welbeck was knackered then he should have stayed on, was our best player along with Sterling

You can't play a pressing game in 30 degree heat and 100% humidity versus Italy of all teams.

How did you not enjoy that game? It was a cracker.

It was a great game, unless you have aspirations of us playing like Peps Barcelona, then that was a very exciting game and performance
