reading up on iOS 8, we are very quickly getting towards the kind of technology we've seen in some sic-fi films now, scary

I am sorry Lstd. Since we last talked about technology, I have switched from Apple to Samsung. And I have to say, it was a great decision to do so. Please don't consider me as a traitor

Na go for whatever you prefer, the samsung galaxy interested me tbh, but i just like having my phone connected to my laptop/ipad. Makes uni work much easier to sort through and keep track of, rather than having loads of sheets of paper i never file. Main reason i stick to apple really

True, using a Samsung phone and an iMac as my desktop is bloody annoying, have to trawl through tutorials on the internet on how to connect photos, music etc everytime I connect my phone to it

Apple products sync with each other beautifully, but anything else and it makes life Hell

apple and microsoft computers, that is just a massive no. iTunes broke my old laptop, forced me into buy a macbook air

My last Macbook cost £720 to fix one item. I bought a brand new, up to date laptop with double the power for half that price.

I have £400 budget. which laptop should I buy keeping in mind uni?

i bought the new macbook air and had literally no problems, whenever i go into apple with any problems on my phone or ipad they always solve them too. Plus i have a 3 year warranty on it so its cool. There isn't a better laptop imo
