Yeah, they fell over themselves to sign him up longer before his first season was out. Proactive as that was it was still ultimately a bit of a fck up because irrespective the huge compo we got it seems we did not bother to ascertain if he'd be OK for Lawwell to sign players he didn't want and ding the ones he did.
As far as I'm aware there's no compromises with your UEFA licence......no licence = no job.
Far from a done deal and the bookies are laughing
It's almost like UEFA is a closed shop who don't like closed shops

I was never that enamoured with the notional appointment of Howe but that doesn’t excuse the absolute lack of investigation and necessary discussions between the club and the backroom staff. Perhaps Howe fed us a line he believed himself, but I find that less than credible. They must have had discussions so for this to be a barrier after 3 months is quite astonishing from all parties involved.
If it’s this Australian then so be it. I think that since BR and to be fair recently Gerrard the idea that some serious management is going to come up to Scotland to manage either club in the future is just wishful thinking.
Like the UEFA competition our “standard” is and no longer again will be what it was and year by year it diminishes.
Bottom line is I support a club and not some individuals. I’ll renew and be back as always as will my boys. Hey ho.
