The guy is an experienced manager, just not in Europe.
The thing to remember, the spfl is not exactly the top league in the world. His target is to come 1st in a 2 horse race and play attacking football.
Champions League qualifiers will be a tough first test for him.
Then , getting a battering at Ibrox in his first old firm game will be a blow as well.
Should be entertaining!

Who is going to identify signing targets? Does Lawell think this guy has access to lots of untapped gems in the Japanese and Australian markets? Its a very worrying development as far as I'm concerned. If the guy gets the players on his side is a good tactician and we have a top class DOF and scouting network in place it just might work, but I seriously doubt it.

Could go back and forth over what most would class as an experienced European manager, but I think most would agree that you’re trying to polish a tvrd.
He’s got too many things going against him than for him, and any possible success is looking to rely on too many things just falling into place at the right time.
