It is gobsmacking that there are still plenty of Levyista`s and ENIC fan boys out there, you would think after 20 years of abject failure, they would be starting to see ENIC for what they really are, which is a group of accountants and property developers, with a sole ambition to make Tottenham Hotspur Football Club a profit making enterprise.
They have no real desire to win silverware at the expense of profit, and any silverware that may come along, would be seen as a bonus, not a necessity.

Inter are in trouble due to Covid, but mainly because their Chinese owners are being forced by the government to stop investing. It's not fair to make out that Conte has bankrupted them.
Using Leicester it's a great example. Yeah the 84% of turnover on players is stupid, and something I definitely wouldn't want to see at Spurs, but it's still around half of what we spend.. that's the problem that we need to fix.
There's also some leeway between spending billions and a little more to get the right guy the first time. That's what I see most fans moaning about, and that's what annoys me. Yeah it shows a lack of ambition, or tight fistedness or whatever, but it's just dumb. You buy cheap, you buy twice.

Inter are in trouble due to Covid, but mainly because their Chinese owners are being forced by the government to stop investing. It's not fair to make out that Conte has bankrupted them.
Using Leicester it's a great example. Yeah the 84% of turnover on players is stupid, and something I definitely wouldn't want to see at Spurs, but it's still around half of what we spend.. that's the problem that we need to fix.
There's also some leeway between spending billions and a little more to get the right guy the first time. That's what I see most fans moaning about, and that's what annoys me. Yeah it shows a lack of ambition, or tight fistedness or whatever, but it's just dumb. You buy cheap, you buy twice.

I'm not denying they're screwed, but it's not Conte's fault. The owners put the money up and had intention to pump loads of money into the club but Covid hit their and the club's revenues, while the Chinese government put a stop to Chinese companies investing in football clubs overseas.
