Shambles mate. You have to wonder what direction if any he plans to take your club. He's head of a money making exercise and a charlatan.
My own club, Celtic is rigged with the same poison.
Good luck
Conte to Spurs was always a longshot, it's not really Levy's fault if he couldn't get him to come.
I am gutted tbh
I feel like I have been done like a kipper! It feels like Levy is conning the fans in the daylight, and not even hiding it
Us fans have become mugs! When did this happen?
We used to be more vocal and Levy would never dare pull of stunts like this and make us fans feel like conned?
What has happened to us? Have we let that baldy get away with it for soo long that he thinks he can do what he wants?
He isn't the majority shareholder either ffs!

Absolutely reveals ENIC for what they are. Gutless, ambition less.
Spurs trying to put a positive spin by saying concerned by Contes age (51 wtf) and if he will play youth.

Yeah because Conte wouldn't agree to come, at least under conditions that were realistic for Spurs.
fkn banter club officially!!
Am hoping it will happen but really not surprised if it doesn't and shocked our fans think most top managers would jump at the chance to manage here.
These guys want to win trophies, expect to manage the top end players with the right mindset and be at a club that is expected to win trophies with a cheque book to boot.. Am afraid Conte wont find it here. The teams we are trying to emulate will be going for the top end players once the window opens. Am afraid we will be shopping a level below these guys..
A few of Contes quotes on Spurs a few years ago. Bottom line is if you want to compete with the big boys act like one and get in the big players. With our current debts and the pandemic the squad will need big reinforcements to compete.
Antonio Conte on Spurs in 2017 :
“ If you don’t win the league at Spurs, it’s not a tragedy, you can explain “
“Difference between Chelsea and Spurs is if you win at Chelsea, great, if you lose at Spurs, it’s not a big deal “
“If [Spurs] don’t win the title, it’s not a tragedy.
“If they don’t arrive in the Champions League, it’s not a tragedy. If they go out in the first round of the Champions League, it’s not a tragedy. If they go out after the first game that they play in the Europa League, it’s not a tragedy.
“Maybe for Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United and - I don’t know - Liverpool, it is a tragedy. You must understand the status of the team.
“Every team has to understand what their ambitions are. If their ambitions are to fight for the title or win the Champions League, you must buy expensive players. Otherwise you continue to stay in your level. It’s simple.”
“My question is this: What are Tottenham’s expectations?”

Conte was right in everything he was saying at the time, he wasn’t insulting us - the expectation at Chelsea with their spending and recent history of major honours is to win the league and challenge for the CL. The expectation at Spurs, even now nevermind in 2016, was to challenge for top 4. It wasn’t considered failure not to win the PL of CL. I see people trotting this quotes out as memes as a stick to beat us with, but Conte was simply explaining - accurately - the difference in status between the two clubs and why there was a different pressure on him and Chelsea. Only an idiot would interpret it any differently, but you only need view Twitter for five minutes to appreciate how many thickcunts there are in the world.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We even have a chairman who matches our mediocrity and lack of solid ambitions!

Conte like all top managers want to come to a club and win trophies and not build a project. Doubt he would want to come to a club that probably don't have the funds at present to compete.
Insulting or whatever way people might take his comments at the time he is right and absolutely also a little dig in there against Chelsea's rivals at the time.
A total farce a total mess and the club continues to be an absolute joke.

I don’t think you’ve properly interpreted what I’ve written, there’s nothing there that deserves applause, I’m simply explaining that Conte was making a fair and honest statement, probably related to the expectations on him, rather than digging Spurs out as some keep suggesting.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I agreed with you that Conte was making a fair assessment.
We are not at the level where we can employ Conte or Jose, because they demand finances to back their challenge.
We are looking at rebuilding and a longer term project. I get that. But if we decide to approach someone like Conte then make sure that we are not just doing it because we are seduced by the idea, but we have the necessary financial muscle to back him.
It clearly highlights the fact we were punching above our weight under Poch who did wonders, and now he's been sacked, we are where we should be?

He’s making too many poor decisions now to justify keeping his job. Happy for him to run the stadium / brand side but he needs to step aside on footballing matters
Morespurs, we were not led to believe Poch was going to be joining or Conte was joining by Daniel Levy, it was all the gullible souls sucked in by Sky.
I find it amusing how grown men can actually believe all the guff the see on the likes of Sky or the rubbish talkshite puts out.
So there is no plan at all it seems at spurs.
STILL no manager, 7 weeks later.
I see Eddie Howe is picking up pace on Twitter
Still I’m sure that ticket sales went through the roof with Poch and conte rumours
