It makes it look like like Levy has some attention deficit disorder. "We're looking for a manager to come and play an exciting style and work with the young pla....Oooh look at the shiny, shiny Conte and his rather pragmatic approach and fondness for experience, let's get him!" Conte starts talking and then Levy yawns and decides he wants someone else.

It's a complete calamity and we are a laughing stock, still with seemingly no idea who our next manager should be a month and a half on.

Why the hell do any Spurs fans want Potter!!?? Honestly
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Attractive football, the players obviously like his style, exciting potential. He'd be a decent, if untested at this level, candidate.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I could almost understand it if Brighton were punching well above their weight, but they’re not, they finished 16th!! And faaack what the players want, most of them just want to stroll around and probably think they’ll get an easy ride under potter
Nothing would confirm levy’s lack of balls and ambition than hiring Potter
----------------------------------------------------------------------
As much as it's nice to be interested in the big names, we shouldn't discount the smaller names either. Obviously Brighton haven't done well enough in terms of their position in the table, but everyone that has seen them can tell you there is more than meets the eye.

Whether we like it or not, someone like Potter is probably going to be the best fit because he isn't used to overspending.

Joe Lewis just will not put his own money into the club.
I cannot think of a more short-sighted attitude,......but what does one expect from a former ice cream salesman?

"Lewis was born to a Jewish family above a public house in Roman Road, Bow, London. Lewis left school at 15 to help run his father's West End catering business, Tavistock Banqueting."
Later on with a few million from that.......
"Lewis teamed up with George Soros to bet on the pound crashing out of the European Exchange Rate Mechanism. The event, which was dubbed Black Wednesday, made Lewis very wealthy, and some say he made more than Soros. Lewis is still an active foreign exchange trader."

Lewis is currently estimated to be worth 4 Billion GBP.
You'd think he could easily give Conte what he wanted and write it off on taxes......but of course he doesn't pay any taxes where he lives now!

Anyways, THFC is going downhill until ENIC sell out.
And Lewis won't do that until he is losing money as majority owner. Soon may that happen!!
