Welcome Bruno

Genuinely surprised to discover that in the 90 years prior to my birth wolves had just nine managers including George Worall and Jack Adenbrooke who were secretaries of selection committees. In the 54 years since there have 24 including 2 x Bill McGarry.

Good luck to Bruno, hoping he's the man to freshen the squad and tactics up.

I don't know a thing about the fella.

if you listen to all the rumours Bruno's gonna be getting us playing 5 a side

good luck, you may well need it

Yeah, Im looking forward to us making Leeds look cautious and unadventurous.

Hope he's got a squad left to manage given all of the rumours. Moutinho, Neves, Patricio - not sure there's much point bringing in another Portuguese boss is there? It's feeling like a total rebuild with all the risks that entails rather than another step in the Fosun plan as the Club would prefer us to believe. Change is never comfortable and this is certainly not comfortable.

Looks like Nuno is going to Palace, that's a bit of a mad career move.

So he can expect a stab in the back any time soon.

Didnt believe all the Nuno to Palace stories but appears that some credible media sources are saying its true. He'll improve them for sure, strange move though, clearly prefers the unfashionable underdog challenge to the pressure of a big club and global attention.

It's not as if Palace spend big, he'll probably have a smaller budget than Wolves? Is that why he left?

Doubt we'll ever find out the real reason behind him leaving, I do suspect thought that it was more the club wanting the change than Nuno.

I'm surprised and disappointed that he has gone to Palace. Sort of taints how I feel about his time with us.

If yt's true that he has gone to Palace then all the reports of him leaving Wolves by 'mutual agreement' are complete tripe. The only reason for him wanting away from Wolves would be to go back to Portugal to be with his family. If he is staying in the UK he was sacked, end of.

I don’t think it should taint your view Boston, and Gem could well be right, I have no idea what Tino s Twitter was about but would be happy to sign the lady with her back to us... not sure I can say that in a politically correct way so I anticipate an imminent arrest ...

Nah nothing wrong with appreciating the finer things in life

The tweet was simply Bruno walking into the stadium not at all saying he's signing on

posted on 9/6/21

Ok she's not bad but not to the extent that you can't take your eyes off her to notice the new manager of wolves entering the stadium for the first time.

Nuno was definitely sacked. He would have got the Everton job except he insisted on taking his backroom staff with him and didn't want Big Dunc on the scene.

Palace is about Nuno's level - relegation fodder to mid table depending on injuries. Their squad is as light as ours is. There's no way Nuno will get Palace anywhere near top seven, even with an injury free season. Zaha wants away, Eze will go to one of the big clubs and Nuno will come in for Coady and Donk (please do).

He'll be sacked by May.

As for Lage, never bloody heard of him a month back but I like what I hear. Wolves were the most boring side in the whole of England last season but Lage is an entertainer first and foremost. I just hope that Nuno hasn't damaged the players too much.

Roma manager Jose Mourinho is keen to sign Wolves goalkeeper and fellow countryman Rui Patricio, 33. The Premier League club has lined up Olympiakos' Portuguese keeper Jose Sa as a potential replacement.
-------------------------------------------------------------------

So, before Bruno steps in, the club have apparently made a move for a replacement. Guess who his agent is?

posted on 9/6/21

I would have liked to see us go for Johnstone of the Unspeakable, looks a great keeper.
