He had a lot of practice last season anyway

I'm not convinced by him. We probably need to up out home grown player quota though, if we want to increase our squad size and add more first team players.

Ramsdale is a bit meh but then I know nothing about Sa either....but if we do need to up our HG's it's certainly easier to fill out #2 and #3 GK's with them

Lots of transfer speculation coming through now.

Patricio to Roma almost being discussed as a done deal with Sa a likely replacement. Sa has done well in Greece which isn’t a strong league, but he does have the advantage of being 5 years younger than Rui.

Arsenal trying to complete a deal for Neves before his first game in the euros next Tuesday in case he does well and the value goes up and other clubs express an interest.

Other possible exits include Vinagre and Sanderson. Vinagre did well at Familicao and is now wanted by champions Sporting Lisbon. Sanderson is wanted by lots of championship and league one clubs including the clubs he spent time on loan with, Cardiff and Sunderland.

Be interesting to see if Bruno is happy to sanction these departures. And also whether he wants to bring in our loan players from last season like Vitinha, Ait Nouri and, lord forbid, Jose. Decision needed on those before the end of June when the loan periods end.

everything I've read so far indicates Vit and Nouri are staying... I really hope Jose is a none starter

I like the possible signing of Sa. Would be a really great signing for Wolves. I'm not sure whether he is actually any good, but it would be very cheap to have his name on the back of the home shirt.

Just been victim of a fake Tim Spiers twitter post saying Nuno was going to re join next week as sporting director. Had me going for a couple of minutes

Think that's where my mate copied it from Tino. You're boys got this you reckon tonight? Don't think the Turkish forwards have been out of their own box yet.

We should be 2 up
Pressure will tell second half. Nice to see an Italy side playing off the front foot

Pretty impressive so far, and yeah deservedly two up now. The build up had a real Italia 90 feel to it, wondered if there might be a similar shock in store.

3 now !

Nice loosener that

Total domination by Italy and there won’t be many better striker partnerships in the tournament than Immobile and Insigne

If the plan is to make funds available for Lage to spend then the sales of Patricio, Neves, Vinagre, Sanderson and Moutinho would raise around £50m. Should be enough to have a rebuild although Vitinha and Ait Nouri would eat into that if we signed them. But you would hope Fosun would also be dipping into their pockets a bit

Hot tips in the media this weekend is that Nuno will soon be announced as the new Everton manager, with Fonseca going to Spurs

Congratulations to former Wolves star Geoff Thomas on being awarded an MBE. 18 years ago he was diagnosed with leukaemia and was given three months to live. Having survived that he dedicated his life to raising money for charities to fight leukaemia and next week is part of a team cycling the whole Tour de France course aiming to raise another £1m

England are12-1 to win the Euro's

For those who don't understand betting:

If you bet £10 at 12-1 on England

you'll lose £10.

Never known the betting so open on a major football tournament. France favourites at 5/1 and Portugal 7th favourites at 8/1

Have had a grilling from the other half on Nuno ball so she can inform her twitter followers with some expert inside knowledge 🤷‍♂️

I thought England were shorter odds than that but probably fair given that we'll play 1st or second from the Portugal, France, Germany group in the next round (if we qualify from our group).

If this pre season is anything to go by, Lage is even more negative than Nuno.

This lot are going down. Trying to find a Bookie that will offer decent odds for under 30 points but can't. They know what's what.

We were better in the second half today and really should have got a draw at least.
