Nail on the head. If he stays fit, there is a seriously good player in there. It’s obvious Bielsa and the club rate him very highly. An injury free Euro’s and a good pre season would be perfect.

Els, I did see a video of him playing with his dog by a pool...looked nice!
22 was the age we saw Phillips begin to blossom. The Tyro is IMO going to be used as an impact sub this season and a very good one.

Good on the ball
Has a touch of finesse about him
I can see him over the next 2 seasons reaching his potential sphere.
Overall pleased he has stayed, can only get better.
Thought he improved in terms of creating chances and link up play with forwards... but let’s be honest, his finishing has been atrocious this season - must improve that side of the game. Will be a top player if he can do that

Well done, Tyler. I admit I've given him some stick this season for his inconsistency and said he should be loaned out for a season, but I'm happy to defer to Marcelo's better judgment. Roberts is a huge talent who's learning all the time and should become a real asset to the club.
Good luck to the lad and from the interviews comes across as a nice fella. Hopefully with the experience at the Euros, a good pre season he'll come back and build on the progress he showed in the latter part of last season.
I think he is best suited to the no type 10 role but just needs more experience and to build his confidence in that role when the chances come along.
