Don, give it up mate. I think you have made your point on countless articles. You are begging to sound a bit silly now.

I like you a lot, but your relentless attack on Daniel Levy and ENIC are wearing very thin now.

I suspect Lewis & Levy are going to get what they deserve.
Unfortunately the Spurs fans will have to watch their club go downhill.
Italian Manager & DoF playing in the English Prem?
The better half of the playing squad bailing out for greener pastures.
Levy refusing to buy top class replacements.
Lewis refusing to put any of his cash in he kitty.
It is shaping up to be a very rough year!

I’ll make my point until I’m blue in the face Sandy. You did the same with Pochettino. I hope the fans chant Levy and ENIC out every home game. Joke of a club and joke of a chairman.

Don is absolutely correct.
And no reason to "give it up"
Time you yourself faced up to the coming train wreck at WHL.
And just go into your silent mode FGS.

I'll be enquiring about a season ticket refund if this happens. I'm sure levy will laugh and let me know what a mug I was for thinking he might actually hire a decent manager and give him funds to operate with.

When levy pulled out of the Conte deal it was clear he had no ambition to compete at the top. But I thought at least he would hire Ten Hag and we would at least try and push top 4 next season.

This manager is completely facked. Can't blame him for taking the job and hope he can do well, but there's nothing to suggest this will end in anything other than failure. He has a poor CV and a chairman who will have unrealistic demands given the meagre resources he will be given.

I’ve seen you say comments like this multiple times now, including ‘hoping the atmosphere is toxic’ next season. And I just don’t get. I understand being angry, disappointed etc. But you’re hoping for things to be awful. Why not at least hope to be proved wrong and it turns out to be a hugely successful season with enjoyable football?

It’s just such a negative mindset.

Because it’s the only way of putting our feelings across to the board and chairman. What other way do you do it? Keep accepting this from them? You need to get real mate, this lot are ruining our club from within and you just can’t seem to grasp it. I never said boo the new manager, but the chairman and ENIC need to be given this treatment. We are going to be awful next season without Kane, so what is the difference ?

poch never done anything to warrant the spurs job either really people moaned then too.

i do fear this could be more of an AVB appointment though, with the new Dof(Baldini mk2) and best player wanting out with huge money involved for reinvestment

posted on 10/6/21

This is basically another Levy cheapo signing, another yes man and a make do appointment. You never know though, we may get lucky like with Poch, I won`t be putting any money on it though.

Levy is to blame for a hell of a lot lately, we have done this to death now.

But he has made an indication now of handing over more footballing decisions to another more footballing brain to this new sporting director who a lot of people have said good things about.

this manager was touted by him not Levy.

Fonseca?
He'll be a buddy of Paritici won't he?
Of course Levy is out of ideas...this being the fifth tier of trial signings by him!
Think we did badly under Mason?
Just wait and see what happens next!

Otherwise stop supporting the club, if you're hoping for the worst then you're not needed.

No way was Levy going to agree to Conte's demands.
So, no way was Conte a real possibility.
But I do agree, Conte would have been very good for Spurs with the current discontent in the squad.

I think if the club did not charge some of the highest ticket prices in Europe, was not one of the first to reduce normal employees salaries by 20% taking government money, didnt jump at the Super league with an eager me too, hadnt just paid out millions to a washed up dinosaur manager that the chairman had a hard on for then yeah fans could perhaps accept these average appointments and lack of plan.

Sadly none of those things are true so we are all a bit facked off to the point of apathy really

Levy cannot wash his hands of it even if Fonseca is the new DoF's choice.

A) The new DoF would obviously of wanted Conte. In fact it seemed that was the only reason we were hiring this bloke.

B) Obviously a new manager would have been their first discussion. If this DoF really thinks a journeyman like Fonseca is the answer then you have to question him in the first place. If he had answered Sean Dyche you would laugh him out of the room, but someone like that has a stronger claim to the job.

Levy and ENIC are taking us to new lows with this. Obviously the top 4 are miles ahead of us, but Leicester are pulling away quickly. The likes of West ham, Everton and Villa aren't far behind.

And we pay the most expensive ticket prices in world football for this privilege

I don’t get the Poch comparisons - people pointing out Poch was largely an unknown entity, Spurs were originally pursing a bigger name manager (LvG)…

Poch was at the beginning of his career, proven himself to some degree in the Prem. for sure, nothing about him suggested he was going to be a success (relative term) but this guy, Fonseca, is (as far as I’m concerned) a complete unknown journeyman. He’s CV looks hope less for someone who has been managing 15 years or so. And then when you look at Roma, who were pizz Poor defensively and look at us, I jus don’t see what he brings to the table.

I hope I’m wrong, I really do, I land I won’t boo him or have any ill towards him, but as far as I’m concerned this DoF has already made a rod for his own back, and visa ve, Levy is yet again on the hook.
