I think what is odd is that I can’t quite figure where the decision came from. The Celtic players, making up a significant chunk, have been kneeling AFAIK and folk like Robbo and KT due to the ethnically diverse teams they play in will be to strangers to teammates receiving racist abuse. Add to that it’s against the Czechs, a team which will have players standing or defying the take the knee in support of Kudela who racially abused a player for a Scottish club in Scotland not 3 months ago. It’s not a good look. Might it be due to concerns that boos could come from the crowd and ruin the good vibes?

Problem is the casual observer, particularly for the England game, wouldn’t see it as that.

Steve Clarke was one of the first to come out against it. He looks like he loves brexit and getting Britain back British.

Personally, think people can not take the knee and still be taking a stand against racism, like Zaha or the Brentford team, and can understand some not liking the knee becomes it comes across as subservient (nothing to do with faux Marxist politics). People have the right to protest in different ways.

So will be interesting to see whether this will still be a protest stance or not.

Don't think it's as simple as that, obviously. However people choose to take a stand against racism is a viable stance, as long as you're opposing racism. Yet to see whether Scotland adopt some other form of protest. If they dont then I think that's a bad look, but right now I see it as people choosing to protest in a different manner

I don't see why a protest against racism has to be via a specific gesture.

I'm fully behind Steve Clarke and the Scotland team, and I certainly am no rascist.

Ulterior motives and reverse racism for political reasons from certain people ,and so much hate !
