England have been poor - really poor - but so too wet Greece and Portugal when they won it, and Spain when they won the WC (lost first game to the Swiss?).

Just have a funny feeling England will win it - not because of quality, form or because I’m a fan, but because sometimes in football things happen that just don’t make sense.

When England beat Germany in a couple of days the usual suspects will reappear saying it's no big deal, the Germans are overrated minnows
