This racism stuff is getting seriously annoying now. Everytime I switch sky sports news on they're covering it. Its a hot topic atm and an annoying one for those not racist and just love sport. For example, I finish work at 10pm tonight so will miss the opening game live, if I stick slysports news on, id garuntee that they'd be talking about which side booed taking the knee or why neither side decided to do it.

You think talking about racism is annoying? Imagining how “annoying” it is for Marcus Rashford, Raheem Sterling and the rest of the English players who experience it on a daily basis.

Well done England for doing the right thing, and f*ck you Scotland you spineless cowards.

Who has made the decision? Didn't Gareth Southgate give the players the option to decide as a squad/team?
I'm not sure what change footballers taking the knee will bring about because a percentage of most if not all clubs/international teams have a group of Neanderthals following them.

This is ridiculous op, think of the players that experience racism.

Think of sizzle who experiences racism even when it’s not there.

As far as I am aware it is a joint decision by the England manager and players not to take a stand against racism. Which is very, very disappointing. There will be some idiots on here that back that decision though.

Scotland - Show the yellow card to racism

posted on 11/6/21

It is very disappointing. The message it sends is one of surrender to those Neanderthals who follow English clubs and England. I do wonder how these racist people square the circle of booing "taking the knee" and then seeing Rashford or Sterling scoring the goal that wins us the tournament.

Absolute state of this. Go and take your head for a sh!t.

I've just read that England players will be taking the knee and Scotland players will not, are England really just going to kneel in front of a standing Scotland team?

posted on 11/6/21

I do find England's refusal to take a stand against racism by actively protesting against standing to be abhorrent. How difficult is it to just take a stand and show the world that racism shall not be tolerated? We have been taking a stand against racism for many months now in Scotland. I just don't see why England won't join us in unity behind that cause.

It has just been announced that England have successfully banned Scotland from taking a stand against racism. Absolute disgrace.

Can't have one team kneeling and the other mooning back... The spectacle would diminish the actual football.
